Humble Pie

By Don't Cry Wolf

Hello. Welcome to Humble Pie, a podcast series where we unpick leadership and get to the guts of what it takes to inspire people and achieve great things. We're curious about why we so rarely see and hear humble leadership in real life. In this day and age, are the best leaders strong, alpha role models that never admit defeat? or are they humble people who inspire others by showing vulnerability? We'll be interviewing people from a range of backgrounds and disciplines to try and find out!

Humble Pie S2 E1: how to be a positive deviant with Rob Baker

Humble Pie S2 E1: how to be a positive deviant with Rob Baker

And we’re back, Season 2 of Humble Pie. The podcast series where we delve deep into leadership and discuss just how great people manage to achieve great things.  We still want to share stories about how some of the best leaders have owned their vulnerability and used it as a strength. Since the last series, the world has changed a hell of a lot. What we want to know is: can great leaders still inspire others whilst showing humility?

In this episode, we chatted to Rob Baker about what it means to be a positive deviant and how you can use it to encourage your teams to think differently, in an evidence-based way, to better performance.

And if you want read more about Rob's approach here's a link to his book https://www.amazon.co.uk/Personalization-Work-Resources-Engagement-Performance/dp/178966294X/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=personalization+at+work&qid=1613654164&sr=8-1
