Blood Match
In what is potentially our last episode - until STV replies to our threats - we get a Dino Allegro special, where we have to pretend he is good. One of the most brain injury episodes yet: “It’s like Gary Lineker shagged Scooby- Doo”.
Digressions:
- The benefits of allowing all PEDs
- Jim, the accidentally foul-mouthed tour guide of Hampden Football Museum
- The perils of having a Head brand bag in a 90s school
- Footballing superstition, players and supporters
- Andy Cole’s annoying habits
- 3G balls, adult glitter
- Australians wearing Oakleys

Cowabunga, it's derby day! Back following a niggling coronavirus injury (4-6 weeks), we cover the Hurricanes' local derby with the Montserrat Pack Rats, but get distracted by: - That World Cup warmup game delayed by rain where a sweaty Glenn Hoddle talked to Adrian Chiles about drainage for hours (including a really quite solid Adrian Chiles impression) - Kerlon, football forum mpeg hero - The continuing travails of Dino “Dogshit” Allegro - Amanda’s mom, has got it going on - Hispanola: Epstein island or a tax haven? - Rangers fans' favourite pop acts: Billie Piper and Sash - Jock’s first bit of management in 5 episodes - Pickles the dog: the conspiracy theory - The World Soccer Farmers League

Toro
Four episodes in, and this show is finally hitting its stride! The Hurricanes that is; this podcast has been gold since day one. This week the 'Canes head to Spain for a bizarre, magic realist family drama episode guest directed by Pedro Almodóvar, focusing on the defender Toro. It's a cashgrab friendly with dubious travel logistics.
This week's digressions:
- Sleeping arrangements in Holyrood
- Longwell Green’s deep Argentinian heritage
- Spanish stadium design choices
- The Corinthian model of Dean Saunders
- Amanda: blonde fraud
- Jock Stone: bad man, bad manager
- The continent’s love for paprika crisps
- Sergio Ramos to Hereford?

Family Feud
It's the second episode of our Hurricanes rewatch! A tough away game for the 'canes as they face the Tokyo Typhoons in the natural disaster derby. But can they overcome the yakuza, a massive £5,100 ransom and the need to fit in every single racist stereotype in Japan? Yes obviously, they're obviously going to win.
We also cover: how Jorg Beethoven may have influenced a young Michael Owen, fashion for small men, international chant culture, and the pound to yen exchange rate in 1992. Strap in.

Deep Cover
Welcome to the first episode of Storm Time - two grown men attempting to watch all 60 episodes of the largely forgotten kids football cartoon, The Hurricanes. It's a very weird show, with a mix of genuine football knowledge, desperate US market cashgrabs, and racism. Lots and lots of racism.
Apart from the cartoon, we manage to cover: Matt Le Tissier’s tinfoil hat, Epstein island, Big Jock and the Hurricane Boys Club, and Tony Adams' adorable negging of his wife.
