A really interesting chat this week with Tim Matthews, who along with his brother Chris started up the Forge Pizzeria in Alfredton several years ago and have grown that business to 2 sites and a mobile service. Tim has built a successful business after starting his career in Advertising and he is one of the main players in Ballarat's vibrant Food and Beverage scene.

This week's guest is John Harris who is the Winemaker and one of the owners of Mitchell Harris Wine Bar in Doveton Street in Ballarat.

This week I talk to Ballarat's Tourism leader Natalie O'Brien. Natalie talks about her 14 years as CEO of Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and the challenges facing Ballarat in the current Covid crisis.

Since opening in 2015, Carboni's Italian Kitchen in East Ballarat has built a loyal customer base, due in no small part to its colourful owner Donatello Pietrantuono. This week I talk to Chef Dona and learn how this talented Chef found his way to Ballarat after starting his career in his hometown of Florence.
