In this episode, students from The Nueva School (Lucie L she/her, Riyana S she/her, Anoushka K she/her, Jack A he/him, Jonathon T he/him, Hope H she/her) share their thoughts and stories with Asian American identity, specifically how portrayal of Asians in media, the model minority myth, and racial solidarity has affected sense of belonging and representation.

They shared their thoughts about witnessing the Uyghur Crisis, rise of Islamophobia, portrayal of extremism and violence in Islamic communities as Muslim American teenagers in the Bay Area.
