En el episodio de este mes, vamos a conocer a Fabiana Castro Hernández, activista mexicana en Madrid por las personas migrantes, las mujeres y las personas LGTBI+. Como mujer migrante y trans, ha participado en numerosas asociaciones y organizaciones en defensa de los derechos humanos.
En esta entrevista hablaremos sobre activismo y sobre las interseccionalidades que nos atraviesan como individuo. Pensaremos también en cuáles son los puntos débiles del activismo climático y feminista y hablaremos sobre la nueva propuesta de ley trans en España.

A just transition: Class perspective and climate change– Episode 5 of the Resist! the Global Climate Divide podcast
In this episode we’re going back in time to 2020... One of the last events IFM-SEI was able to organise before the lockdown started was a consultation on Climate Change and Intersectionality, also part of Resist! the Global Climate Divide.
Nadia Asri met there Diego, activist in Extinction Rebellion (https://rebellion.global/) and Stay Grounded (https://stay-grounded.org/), and Paul is an active volunteer from Woodcraft Folk (https://woodcraft.org.uk/), a member organisation of IFM-SEI, and have a conversation about the changes that society will need to make in order to face the effects of Climate Change...
But, what if we changed the system from one day to another, leaving behind the fossil industries, flying or long-distance transportation? What would happen with the millions of jobs that get lost in the process? Diego and Paul will speak about what they would consider a just transition and what steps can be made to ensure an inclusive and green future.

Cambio Climátivo vs. Género
Ecofeminismo: El cambio climático y la perspectiva de género — Segundo episodio en español del podcast de Resist!
El pasado 8 de marzo tuvo lugar el día internacional de las mujeres y pensamos que es un momento perfecto para hablar del cambio climático desde la perspectiva de género. Para ello, hemos invitado a María Eugenia García Nemocón, activista y miembro de la Comisión de Ecofeminismo de Ecologistas en Acción (España).
María Eugenia nos hablará de su visión del cambio climático y los vínculos que este tiene con el sistema capitalista y el mundo colonial, así como de los efectos que tiene en diferentes grupos y, en especial, con las mujeres.

El cambio climático y las alternativas al Capitalismo — Primer episodio en español del podcast de Resist!
Este es el primer episodio en español del podcast de Resit! The Global Climate Divide. Este podcast explorará las relaciones entre el cambio climático y diferentes aspectos tales como los derechos humanos, la justicia racial, o la (des)igualdad de género, entre otros.
En este episodio exploraremos los vínculos entre el Capitalismo y el cambio climático y hablaremos de diferentes alternativas a este sistema. Primero, charlaremos con Jorge Gómez, participante de la capacitación de Resist!, y activista y educador en la organización chilena Integridad Absoluta. The second episode of Resist! the Global Climate Divide Podcast is here! In this episode we will explore the links between Climate Change and Racial Justice, diving into the colonial roots of this crisis and reflecting about how different cultures have different perspectives regarding Climate Change.
Nadia Asri will interview Marios, from Rebellion Belgium (https://www.extinctionrebellion.be/en/), and Sanka Chandima Abayawardena, from the European Network Against Racism (https://www.enar-eu.org/). They will bring up interesting topics challenging Western mentality, bringing examples from China , Sri Lanka or Cambodia, and reflecting on how some of this cultural heritage is being forgotten in the name of Western Science and Capitalism.
