The sooner we deal with the wrongs we commit the better chance we will have of a right relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Many times we find ourselves in situations where we are timid or fearful. That is because we do not feel safe. What if we really understood and believed that God, who is with us all the time, is a fortress for us. In him we find the safety to fuel confidence, find boldness, and fight anxiety.

We all know what it’s like to feel physical hunger. We eat and then are full. Our souls are meant to be satisfied in relationship with God. Without it we feel a spiritual hunger that we try to satisfy with all kinds of things that won’t work. Psalm 42 highlights this reality for us and the Bible gives direction for finding the satisfaction we so badly crave.

Bad language has always been a part of youth culture, but it seems to be getting more and more acceptable. Should Christian students accept what the world accepts? How can Christians limit the amount of swearing they hear so it has less of an ability to come back out in our speech?
