MLK Day 2024

MLK Day 2024

Consider what you know about Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. What are some things you can learn?

Beyond the black and white photos and quotes that will flood social media on January 15, it's important to remember Dr. King was more than a poster in a classroom. He was a son, husband, father, friend, and scholar. He played pool and had fraternity brothers. He had colleagues and friends who also advanced civil rights.

Check out the history of MLK Day from the Smithsonian.

Read a collection of King's sermons in A Knock At Midnight.

Learn more about King's contemporaries and those who influenced him.
