A long time young professional in the area of Division III athletics, Erika brings some unique insight and thoughts to the role of strength coaching within the D3 setting.
Season 2 Premiere | Officiating
It's Back! In the season 2 premiere of #TheInsideD3Show, the one and only Host, Morgan Cheatham discusses the world of officiating. Joining him in this episode is D3 brewed, Adrienne Mullikin. Currently serving as the Commissioner of the Colonial States Athletic Conference. They dive into a unique initiative concerning the challenge of officiating not only at the Division III level but in sport as a whole, the commissioner describes her and her peers forward-thinking in solutions. Adrienne also shares her love for DIII athletics, as well as the reason she came back to find a home in the Division after time at the Division I level.

Former chair of the NCAA DIII National SAAc joins Morgan on our 19th release of #TheInsideD3Show. A former standout football player offers a really in-depth perspective of what it takes to succeed on the Division III level. Not only on the field but also in the classroom and even time after as a student-athlete. Parker and Morgan talk about the usual #WhyD3 but also dive into DIII impact on a greater scale than simply sport.

Currently serving as head SID at Olivet Nazarene, Sam, and Morgan waste no time diving into all aspects of D3 athletics. A focal point of Division III athletics is the ability to offer student-athletes a comprehensive holistic college experience with the opportunity to excel at the institution as well as compete at one of the highest levels of amateurism. Marissa is without a doubt a testament to this and her journey to where she is today as a registered nurse and recent graduate of Stevenson University. Morgan and Marissa chop up all of our favorite topics such as the DIII experience, social justice, and more.

A champion of DIII, leader and experienced figure, Brad Bankston the 22-year conference commissioner of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference hops on the #InstideD3Show. Brad in Morgan dive straight into his extensive background and knowledge of the field as well as talk shop about what makes the Division go round. Brad also offers a really unique perspective of how the Divison has been shaped over the past two decades for both student-athletes and staff. Brad is one of the many people that makes #WhyD3 a thing.

Recently hired as Assistant Athletic Director for Operations and Compliance/ Senior Woman Administrator at Alma College. Kiana Verdugo, a true product of Division III athletics, she joins Morgan to discuss her short but busy journey thus far in the field. From her early days as a DIII Track and Field student-athlete to her experience in the Minorites Immersion Program, National SAAC, and an Internship Stint at the National NCAA Office in DIII Governance, Kiana embodies and models the full DIII student-athlete experience.

Lori has been a leader in DIII athletics for over 25 years, and currently holds the VP. position in the National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators (NADIIIAA) as well as Director of Athletics at Eastern Connecticut State University.
