Ally has founded and currently runs creative studio We Are Your Friends which specialises in inclusive design.

In this episode, we are interviewing  Oashe Bhattacharya & Krina Shah about the topic of mental health and wellbeing for international students.

Oashe has completed her postgraduation from Monash University in Master of Public health. She now divides her time working as a Health Promotion Officer at IndianCare and Research Assistant at Alfred Health. She has been actively advocating for mental health among international students through a cultural and intersectional lens.

Krina is a Master of Social Work graduate from the University of Melbourne and is currently working as a Family violence Primary Prevention Practitioner. She is a vocal advocate working to support the mental wellbeing of International students and multicultural communities in Victoria through her work at IndianCare.

In this episode, we are interviewing Priyanshu Tomar, a current international student from La Trobe University.

Priyanshu Tomar is currently a Junior Consultant at LJM InfoTech Pty Ltd and is also working at Qantas as a Junior IT Consultant.

At La Trobe University , Priyanshu co-founded Bollywood Club and has been actively involved in student clubs and societies that were primarily focused at enhancing international student experience and reforms in education.

He is also the board member at the Indian Students Association of Victoria that serves as a peak body for Indian student organisations that are established in Victorian higher educational institutions.

In this video, we have interviewed Sourodip Chattopadhyay. A former international student from Deakin University, Australia. 

Sourodip has had an amazing international student journey as he got his first part-time job as a gardener and later went on to do an unpaid part-time internship through a job fair at Deakin University. 

After graduation, he had a hard time searching for a full-time job and had to apply for hundreds of jobs but after almost 8 months of applying for jobs, he managed to get a job at Deloitte Australia.

In this episode, we are interviewing Ocean Cheung, a former international student from the University of Queensland. 

Ocean Cheung is the Programs and Marketing Coordinator at Practera, working with StudyQueensland to deliver its flagship employability initiative.

While studying at UQ as an international student, Ocean co-founded Startup Interns, which received a Queensland IET Partnership Fund, developed the IEAA Student Entrepreneurship Research paper, and has consulted for Austrade.

He is the IEAA Tony Adams Rising Star Award 2020 and Queensland Government Outstanding Young Achiever Award 2019 recipient, as well as a UQ Young Alumni Advisory Board member and Techstars APAC Community Leader.
