I'm back at it with the third installment of the Taboo Series, All Things Colorism! Whew Chile. Listen, if it's one thing that really gets me going conversationally it's this topic. Colorism has and continues to plague the black space like wildfire and I bring back a recurrent guest to break down this topic and she does it so gracefully. My best, Jewell aka Juice, drops knowledge and perspective on this episode and leaves no crumbs behind. We both give our own personal perspectives and opinions of how colorism has played major parts in our life and give a voice to what we think it will take to really abolish the mindset that comes along with all things colorism. In today's society, there is literally no space for black mothers to be vulnerable, selfish with themselves and admit that motherhood is TOUGH. I bring along 2  very special guests, Tae and Shan, for an amazing conversation about what black motherhood means to us, the magical art of BALANCE with children and the stereotypes and stigmas we face daily as black mothers.
