It’s been four, maybe even five weeks since my last show, so let’s catch up. This month is the 1 year anniversary of the podcast/streaming. Combined with the fact that it’s been a while, this episode is the longest episode to date. I’ve been gone for 4-5 weeks now, and in that time one question has been on my mind, “How are you?” How have you been? How have I been? How have we really been? The longest episode ever (I think) ! Which is funny because I wrote the least amount of notes. We get into talking about some of the things that’s been going on the couple of weeks I haven’t been on: the super bowl, germs, Valentine’s Day, and babies! It’s still January when we recorded this and let me start off by saying, I’m pretty sad. There was a humming in the last episode, thought I fixed it, guess not. After some tests, realizing my mic is probably broken :c so this is your hum warning ** doesn’t sound as loud as the last episode.. I think? My holiday break has been a complete blur, and it’s very obvious. We try to talk about the CASE act - a 5,593 page bill they’re trying to pass that could potentially hit every day streamers with fines up to $30,000. ** I did find the source afterwards, and as suspected the original article was taken down and another article put in its place. This week is a little more organized. We start it off talking about one of the first subjects we’ve ever discussed - toilet paper and where I think it has gone during this second stay at home order. I also bring up the Chinese airlines asking their flight attendants to use diapers instead of the toilets, the fact that anyone who has earned their doctorate in ANY field can use the title Dr. (they fucking earned it), and that it is totally okay that not everybody likes you, because that’s impossible. There have been a lot of things on my mind this week, but the main things: Why are we trying to regress as a society? Why did I get a text message asking me to vote yes on prop 16 saying it will help fight discrimination against women in the work place, but when I look up prop 16 all it says is it’s going to repeal the ban on discrimination (prop 209) ? I thought I had a heart attack last Saturday (I’m okay!!) so I spent the week resting and focused on my health. I didn’t have anything planned for this weeks episode or even begun to think about next weeks. So what did I talk about? My health, chatted with people in the live chat about things on their mind and always bringing up how we are each our own individual persons with our own needs, wants, opinions, bodies, etc..
