Social Media and Impostor Syndrome with Bryce Lewis
Being a strength coach is not just about making people stronger…
After finishing their certification or degree coaches will often be left with a bunch of questions about the actual business side of things, like for example, how do you market yourself and how do you manage your clients work load without burning out.
These questions can be very industry specific and not always so easy to Google an answer to.
And when there are lots of things you need to consider and when there also might be a fait bit of grey area around the answers, I find that bringing in people who have already done what you want to do and listening to their experience to is one of the best way to learn.
In todays episode I sit down and talk to Bryce Lewis, who is not only a very successful strength coach but also a highly accomplished powerlifter.
Bryce, who is a good friend of mine, is someone who's helped me tremendously over the years with great advice and timely encouragement, in particular when I was a new coach and business owner, so I knew that he’d be the perfect person to have on the show.
I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.

The Business of Strength with Jamie Smith
As powerlifting coaches we operate in a pretty niched industry so it’s easy end up with advice that simply doesn’t apply to us when we go looking for information about how to grow ur business.
If you’re at a stage in your coaching journey where you’re starting to feel perhaps just a little bit overwhelmed, whether it be around your marketing, around creating content, the business back end like managing your finances or simply just handling your overall client load… whatever it might be… I think this episode is going to be a good one for you.
Jamie Smith is a Melbourne based business owner who started out at as a personal trainer. As we’re recording this episode his team consists of himself, four other full time coaches and an in house physiotherapist. Melbourne Strength Culture is just about to expand their facilities while the majority of their business is run online.
The evident impressiveness of this business growth aside, Jamie has a very straight forward way of explaining the ins and out of what goes into running a successful business and he shares his experiences in a way that feels very relatable.
I was stoked to have this conversation with him and I hope you enjoy it as well.
