This weeks guest is Lucca Allen, a very interesting young man who is on his way to the top of motor sport. Lucca is the son and grandson of the celebrity chefs Rachel and Darina Allen, who started in Karting and worked his way up to become the current South East Asia F4 champion by the age of 17. We discuss growing up in Ballymaloe  House and how food and fresh produce have been a big part of his family, how he got into motor sport, what is like as a young man travelling the world to drive the best tracks available, the dedication needed to get to the top and the modelling side of his brand.

Wanny is a musician from Scotland and is very keen on learning about his history and roots, he has also had a place in his heart for his second home, Jamaica, where he and his good friend own some land and are building a yard. Wanny tells us about how he fell in love with Rastafari, how he spends his time between Jamaica and Scotland, how this influences his music, we discuss his songs and idea behind them and go on tangents about language, life and more.

I sit down with Eilis on her baby’s due date to have a very positive chat about pregnancy check-ups during this time, how pastry chefs are keeping busy and how she has adapting to running a virtual dance school. She has always had many plates to spin, but nature has forced her to slow down, and she seems to be at peace with that. Really enjoyed this chat with Eilis, it was the first episode recorded in the evening and it certainly has a relaxed vibe.
