The Buccaneers dropped the game, but there was positives to draw from the starters' success. Moving across the bay to the Tampa Bay Rays sweep of the Los Angeles Angels to pick up the fourth straight series win and sixth win overall. Then going into a discussion of the Red Sox series which started Friday night on the National Apple TV+ "Friday Night Baseball" broadcast featuring Katie Nolan. This broadcast drew some toxicity and overall bad vibes from the Rays Twitter fanbase and James goes into a discussion of why it got out of hand and should not have happened for this new type of fun-baseball broadcast. Then discussing Tyler Glasnow's new contract extension, before looking into the upcoming schedule for the Rays.

In this episode of Tampa Bay Takes, James starts it off by breaking down the Rays recent hot streak with three series wins in a row versus Baltimore, New York, and Kansas City. Then discussing the upcoming week for the Rays, as they finally get some good news on the injury front. Moving across the bay to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers dropping the second preseason game to the Tennessee Titans. With 15 players sitting to avoid injury, it was an ugly game with only 16 points total scored. Tom Brady returns to camp after taking a leave from the team for personal reasons, which then caused different conspiracy theories to emerge. Dana White brings more drama to the newswire with a backroom plan that was supposed to bring Brady to the Las Vegas Raiders back in 2020 to play for Coach Jon Gruden, before he joined the Bucs.

Antonio Brown never fails to be entertaining with this latest social media post.
