This is the week we've all been waiting for! This week we're encouraging you to have some fun. What are some of your favorite movies, books and songs? Time to revisit those things that help you feel inspired, bring back awesome memories, make you laugh or even cry with joy! All work and no play is wack so let's pencil in fun on your calendars. What are some of your favorites? We can't wait to hear!
We had some really great success this week with the challenge, but more importantly, we discussed some hard things. Change is never easy, and we have a candid conversation about low points and how we plan to resolve them. We know this is relatable and real content and that someone listening my realize that they are not alone. Hang in there you guys. Change and growth is sometimes difficult but it's always worth it. We love you!
Time to cut the clutter you guys! There're so many things that are roadblocks when you are working hard to get your goals off the ground and clutter is one of them. It's almost impossible to keep your projects straight when you have piles of paper to organize or a bunch of emails in your box. How many times have you forgotten about something important because it wasn't on your calendar? Well this week, we're putting on our clutter-busting gloves and going for a knock out! Put on a Rocky theme song and let's get in the ring to take down your disorganized work space.
We all had a great week and hope you did, too. Here's what we learned. You simply can't make big changes in your life without assessing where you're wasting your time. Social media, Netflix and chill way too much, or whatever your time wasters are have to be identified. Once you do that you will be so surprised at the time you recover to put towards those important goals. I hope you found more time in your day to get those things that have been on the back burner done. If you didn't what are you waiting for?
Say the title fast as many times as it takes to start taking those chances you've been avoiding. The time isn't later, or one day. The time is now ya'll.
This week we all had some great fear busting moments. Someone even bought a MOTEL! Yeah, we are serious fear. You'd better watch your back!
Feeding your fears is as bad as feeding bears. Okay well, they both come with challenges, but fear can hold you back from so many amazing experiences. What is holding you back? Fear of failure, of disappointment, of what others might say? We've all been there. This week our challenge is to tackle something that makes you scared. Just one thing. We've got your back, Friends!
Join us as we share the things on our Happy List. We even rediscovered old passions. This was a great journey that reminded us that happiness is. extremely attainable if you allow yourself to be on the lookout for those things (big and small) that bring you joy.
LOOK AT JWF COINING NEW WORDS! Yes, It's possible to combine happiness and success. This week, we challenge you to make a list of things you love to do and find ways to incorporate them into your personal life, and maybe even your professional life! Disclaimer: Do not just quit your job. (I felt we had to say that again). But if you really look at your gifts, you might just surprise yourself.
Follow up with Dawn, Cindy and Jamie to see how the week of self care went. There were break throughs, professional wins and challengus interruptus (I think that's Latin for room for improvement).
The important thing is that self care is not part of our daily routines and we're all for it! How about you?
If you want to have great self care clap your hands, (clap clap!). Yes you should have sang that to the tune Happy and You Know It and yes, you should have both hands up! This will be a week dedicated to mind, body and soul! I found a wonderful video on YouTube that I'd like you to view (it's only 5 mins, no excuses). It will put you on a journey to understand why great self care is a must in order to pursue any other goal.
Here it is and here we go!
A Self-Care Action Plan
Were we all successful in our connections? I'm going to say yes, because we all did something that took us out of our comfort zones. Well, sure Dawn was picking fights in a bagel shop (not really, she was hugging people - how much more of a connection can you get?) but it was still a lesson learned for all.
Make these challenges your own and before long you'll see that you're stronger than you think you are.
As promised, here are your some quick tips from Adrianne to help you with the challenge to make a new or revisit a connection. Her 3 tips will ease any tension you may have about reaching out. Send in your recorded messages to firstname.lastname@example.org to be friend of the week! Also check out Adrianne's FB page The Daring Dreamers Society to like, share and book an appointment.
Making connections isn't always easy, but if you are creative, it's certainly doable. Check with with the Journey With Friends crew to see how they did this week. Including a live connect that shows how it's done (and it was totally random!).
Sometimes we just need positive voices in stereo to help with doubt. Your personal surround sound should keep you motivated and encouraged! We welcome Personal Coach, Adrianne Laconi, all the way from Italy, to discuss strategies to surround yourself with the voices that keep you inspired.
Find Adrianne on FB at https://www.facebook.com/groups/484727675769096/ for inspiring content and to learn more about her services.
This week's challenge is all about connections. Find a person, or group that is specific to your goal and will keep you moving towards those big and little wins! Send your recorded message or email to email@example.com for your chance to be Friend of the Week!
Talk to you on Friday!
This challenge has been extended another week. That’s how important we think it is. Can’t wait to hear your comments and share ours. Join us this week for a two day follow up on Tuesday and Friday! Plus...some interesting news!
Same results usually mean you're doing the same old thing. This week join Cindy, Dawn and Jamie as they try new things for new results. Comfort zone, you're about to be left behind!
And big thanks to our Grace and Dee, our friends of the week, who provided feedback from last week's Small Wins episodes.
While only Dawn followed directions and recorded her win, Cindy and I still have reason to celebrate. Check out our small wins. One listener will have their small win played on Tuesday's show! Have a great weekend and rack up those small victories!
And Happy 100th Birthday to my amazing Abuelita! Love you, Grandma.
Keeping motivated by celebrating your small wins is one of the best ways to keep it moving. Every little victory leads you to that major win! Our challenge this week is to celebrate itty bitty, minuscule, barely noticeable, but still a win , wins. Oh and listen to the Ted Talk listed on our FB page.
Happy Friday ya'll! Continuing with our getting to knows, we thought it would be cool for you to know some of our goals. We have some completely in common and have had to pivot on others. Putting it out in the universe makes us really accountable right? Well, here we go!
Well, if we expect you to get to know yourself, you should probably know who the heck we are and why the heck we're here. Today find out a little about our why and our personal journeys. Strap in y'all!
How we do saying no? Well, unexpected challenges came up that had us really fighting to stay on course. Darn Entenmann's Donut sale! But we definitely had some wins as well. We have to celebrate small victories, right? Plus all these changes are going to make people a little uncomfortable. But it's all good. Keep moving'!
No, we aren't discussing any recent movie song that parent's have heard for months in quarantine. Today's topic is the awesome power of the word no. Here's how this two letter word can leave lots of time for the things you believe you don't have time for. Join us as we take the challenge to say no this week.
Hey guys! We took up the challenge to be more mindful of choices that allow us to remain in control at work, during conflicts and even in our relationships. And yes, we were tested! Check out the challenges we faced and how good (or bad) we did this week.
It's our first interview! Join us while we chat with Kristie and get insight into how she climbed the ladder from receptionist to senior manager at a leading maritime company. She discusses her strengths, challenges and what inspires her the most. She ends with an interesting journey, a bold step that led her to self acceptance in an image conscious society. Meet Kristie.
Sound baths, 5 minute mediations, relaxed driving...one of these things is not like the other, but all made for a zen week. Check out the follow up and see how Dawn, Cindy and I faired with our meditation challenge.
This week we are trying meditation as a tool to destress and block negative self talk. It's been said that words have power...so do thoughts. And the ones we think all day have more power than we realize. On your goal busting journey it's important to find ways to avoid derailing your own success. Join us in our meditation challenge.
***Forgive the wonky audio. I put my audio editing skills to the test and well, the results were less than stellar. I'll fix that on Friday! Thanks everyone!***
Welcome to the first Friday Follow up episode! We'll check in Fridays to let you know how we did during the week. The good, the bad and the ugly. We know that accountability is a great tool for success. Join us on Fridays to revisit your week and see how you can go into the weekend strong. Happy FRIDAY!
What do Cindy and Aristotle have in common? Nothing really BUT they both acknowledge the value of habits. Join Dawn, Cindy and I as we talk about motivation vs. habit. And be prepared for your challenge this week. It'll be a great week as we stop relying solely on motivation, which is fleeting, and start building great habits!
I hope you're all staying safe! Join me with my friends Dawn and Cindy as we discuss life before, during and after Ronnie (my less intimidating name for COVID-19).
There are some blips in the audio (sorry). Hopefully I'll get those fixed before the next social distancing with friends session.

Failure isn’t a roadblock unless you allow it to be. No one celebrates failures but you should feel grateful for anything that helps you approach your goals with clarity. Sometimes failures do just that.
Avoid the doubt and keep pushing friends.
Finding inspiration in music is a daily thing for me but in Algebra? Well that's new to me.
HAPPY MLK DAY WEEKEND. I hope you take up the challenge in the show and tell someone about your goals this weekend.
Welcome to the Tuesday special, “You, Me and a Cup of Tia” featuring my awesome, Aunt. She provides me with such great advice that I didn’t want to hog it all. So once a week, I’ll share her with you! Today we talk about setting goals, social media and your support system.
