We welcome two special guests in this episode! Ines and geishaarmy who have been loyal Patreons of ours
Please enjoy our silliness that lasts for 2 hours LOL
Next Drama Club pick is by me and we're watching Queen's Classroom! Something mango, myself and catstreet haven't watched. We'll all be back to our normal format for the next episode. We'd like to thank Edward, Ines, and geishaarmy for joining our podcast and filling in the gap while catstreet was out :)

Drama Club: Season 2 Episode 3 - BORDER
This month is mango's pick! Don't let all the pink in the poster fool you! For this episode we have a special guest, EdwardWong.
We talk a lot again and go off many tangents, sorry!
Next month's pick is by Edward, and he chose Elpis! I'm excited to see this one. :)
Drama Club: Season 2 Episode 2 - Kyou Kara Ore Wa!!
Join us in this second episode of the second season of The Drama Club Podcast!
Last month's pick was Kyou Kara Ore Wa!! by catstreet. It's an upbeat and comedic look at two high school transfer students who decide to become "Tsuparris," otherwise known as delinquents from the 80s. This anime-style comedy will make you laugh throughout the series.
Oops, we also talk a bit about our semi-delinquent pasts as well. Sorry for the TMI!
Hope you listen along and join us for next month, which is mango's pick, Border!
Drama Club: Season 2 Episode 1 - Densha Otoko
Happy New Year! Hope everyone has enjoyed their time off during the holidays eating good food and spending it with friends and family.
We're back for another episode of Drama Club!
Last month we watched the super popular Jdrama, Densha Otoko! It's amazing because none of us have watched it.
Drama Club: Season 1 Episode 7 - Siren
We have lots to complain about! If you haven't seen Siren, don't. If you have time to kill, watch it for Nanao or the two call girls.
Listen to us rant for an hour about this drama. :)
This is the last podcast of the year! We hope you've enjoyed our podcast so far. We look forward to continuing it in the new year.
Drama Club: Season 1 Episode 6 - Shichinin no Hisho
Welcome to another episode of Drama Club! Where we watch dramas together and talk about it! It's a great way for us to catch up on Jdramas in our backlog and this makes us more accountable to finish the drama. This one is a more recent Jdrama, Shichinin no Hisho--catstreet's pick.
This drama is a bit like an Ocean's Eleven where you have different characters who join forces to accomplish a common goal, in this case they are punishing those in business and government positions who abuse their powers.
Listen to the podcast and let us know if you've enjoyed watching along.
Drama Club: Season 1 Episode 5 - Mr. Brain
In this installment of Drama Club, we all watched 2009's Mr. Brain starring Kimura Takuya and Ayase Haruka.
Listen along as mango goes off on a tangent about studying Japanese and kanji, catstreet brags about all the dramas she's watched but can't remember what the storylines are about and amrayu shares OLD Japanese Entertainment gossip.
Next month's pick is something more recent, Shichinin no Hisho (Seven Secretaries) from 2020.
Drama Club: Season 1 Episode 4 - Suteki na Sen Taxi (Time Taxi)
Join amrayu, catstreet and mango as we ramble about Suteki na Sen Taxi in this fourth installment of Drama Club.
Overall, we all enjoyed this series due to its time travel element, Eda, the quirky scenarios and the writing by Bakarhythm. But we ended up with a lot of questions about the rules around time travel like...
- Did Eda come from a line of Time Taxi drivers?
- Why are the Time Taxi Travel police in hazmat suits?
- What happened to that grandpa? Was he a ghost?
Thanks again to our patrons, donors and listeners.
There's spoilers in this, so you've been warned.
See you next episode where we're watching Mr. Brain!
Drama Club: Season 1 Episode 3 - Buzzer Beat
Join amrayu, catstreet and mango as we ramble about Buzzer Beat in this third installment of Drama Club.
We all had mixed feelings about Buzzer Beat, but we all understand the charm of Buzzer Beat. Also many tangents in this podcast! Learn about the origins of Drama Otaku and what mango's favorite drama is (psst--it's not a Japanese drama! SO SHOCKING!).
Thanks again to our patrons and donors.
There's spoilers in this, so you've been warned.
See you next episode where we're watching Suteki na Sen Taxi!
Drama Club: Season 1 Episode 2 - Miss Sherlock
Join amrayu, catstreet and mango as we ramble about Miss Sherlock in this second delayed installment of Drama Club.
Mango is our resident Sherlock and medical expert, so please enjoy listening to her school us on these topics.
We hope you enjoy this almost 2 hour-long episode! Woo! There's so much to talk about when it comes to Sherlock and we really couldn't fit it into 2 hours, believe it or not. Also listen in to hear what catstreet picked as our next drama!
Thanks again to our listeners, patrons, and donors.
Drama Club: Season 1 Episode 1 - Last Cinderella
Join amrayu, catstreet and mango as we discuss our first installment of Drama Club, Last Cinderella! Last Cinderella is about a single 39 year old woman, Sakura, who works at a beauty salon. We follow her love life (or lack thereof) as she gets coached by her two best friends, Miki and Shima, who have their own relationship issues. Does Sakura end up with Hiroto, the young and hot 24 year old BMX rider, or does she end up with her childhood friend, Tachibana, who she sees as more of a sibling?
Please note there's spoilers in this podcast!
