In this episode, Jenna Hanchard explores why she was afraid to start this podcast and pursue her storytelling dreams after leaving her career in local news. Jenna Hanchard is in conversation with her career coach, mindfulness consultant and teacher Shian Chuan who helped her part with her fears and self-limiting beliefs. She's also in conversation with her sister-friend Daryllyn Harris who is also a clinical counselor and PhD candidate. Her research focus is the lived experiences of African-American women who have undergone depression feelings and who have received therapeutic interventions to build an understanding of facilitators and barriers for mental health service utilization for Black women.
