For our friends and family that know us, you know we are always on the search for a new adventure. We kind of go where the wind blows us and prefer to have little ties. We are finally all settled into our Airbnb in Sacramento for the next month in half before our next move and wanted to share a little bit about it. Thanks so much for listening. You can always follow us for more at jennandbrandon.com
Bodie- The Most Famous Ghost Town in America
13 miles down a bumpy, slow road just off State Highway 395 sits the most famous ghost town in America called Bodie. It is home to 110 standing structures from the 1800s and a place where 10,000 people used to call home. 5 Tips to Maximize Your Productivity
There are so many things to get done and so little time. Sometimes this thought stresses us out to the point we don't get anything done at all because we don't even know where to start. This week on our podcast we talk about 5 tips we use to maximize our productivity- you can also read about it on our blog here
Finding Freedom by Having Less
Lifestyle- This past month I (Jen) have learned that I love our nomadic lifestyle. It gives us so much freedom that we wouldn't have and also alleviates a ton of financial pressure. I used to feel like a nomadic lifestyle was unachievable while working 9-5 jobs, but we have found a way. I (yes just me, solo because Bran is on a mission) share a little bit about our background and how our path has led us to full-time RVers, part time van dwellers and maybe future sailors??? I shared a few tips and bullet points that Brandon wrote down for me. He is truly the most simple person I have ever met and I think he should do a podcast on that alone in the future. Also, I told you I would share our 5 tiny living hacks blog which you can find here https://www.jennandbrandon.com/post/5-tiny-living-hacks Thanks for listening along!
North Americas Smallest Hotel Room

Global Security and Intelligence with Ashtin and Ed
Today we talk to some of our dearest friends, Ashtin and Eddie! Jen met Ashtin in college when she played soccer for Embry-Riddle. This was the beginning of an amazing friendship. They both were in the Global Security field and they shared a little bit about that. Also, they are working hard outside of college to create an income.
Happy New Year- Change Your Mind, Change Your Life! What are your goals?
Episode 14 is all about the goals we set for ourselves this year. Also, we talk in depth about the book Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins. This book is a must read!! It has really changed our outlook on life. So if you need some motivation give it a read. Also, be on the look out for next week’s episode with our guest speaker, Ashtin and Eddie! They talk about their jobs in Washington D.C. and what their jobs look like after getting a degree in Global Security.
Guest Speaker: Trent Dunn. The Road to Mastery through Undergraduate Pilot Training | ZA013
Staying positive during the COVID spike and where we are going for our next assignment | ZA012
We are FINISHED with Pilot Training and meet our newest family members!! | ZA011

Minimalism- Part 2 | ZA010
This week's episode is started off by the true minimalist master, Brandon. He discusses three points 1. Try to think of what you take backpacking, this helps channel what things you actually need. 2. Decrease your waste by being intentional with your purchases. 3. If you can re-buy an item from a store within 10 minutes and you can't remember the last time you used that item, you probably don't need it. Brandon is definitely the organizer out of the two of us and he loves to share great tips and tricks. So here is part 2 of possibly many other parts in the future.
Meaning of Zo Agape | ZA 009
Yes, our name has changed. Honestly, we are so excited we made this change. We were wishing we had just started out this podcast originally as Zo Agape, but we didn't so oh well. Living Simply was fun, but on to bigger and better things! Zo Agape is here to stay. So this podcast is all about what Zo Agape means to use!
REAL TALK- Working On That Communication! | ZA008
It is said, from my very reliable source of google, that people speak around 5000 words a day. You think that would mean we are all pros by now right? Haha that is definitely not the case for Brandon and I. This episode we attack one of our biggest weaknesses… communication. We talk about how we have worked on improving this topic over the last 7 years by being clear with what is bothering us, not creating expectations for the other person, and using the “higher standards” principle. It is not an easy subject and by no means we are experts. We are constantly trying to grow and that is all you can do. Be the best person you can be today.
Minimalism- Part 1 | ZA007
Minimialism is a unique journey for every single person, there is no right way or wrong way! What is important is that every piece you have, you value. Today we talk about 3 points that we have learned from our van adventures last year. 1. Minimalism looks different for everyone 2. As long as it brings you joy it is okay to keep it 3. Try going 3 months without it and see if you miss it before actually getting rid of it.
44 states and 4 1/2 months on the road | ZA 006
This has to be my favorite episode we have recorded this far. We start out by tackling chapter one of The Power of Habit. Set a goal for yourself to break a habit during this podcast! Also, we had so much fun telling stories of our van adventures. We talk about picking up a hitchhiker from AK to the Banff border, riding all over the US on our Walmart bikes, and even hitting a patch of ice in the van... Yes we took out the mirror and I may have thrown up from being rapidly woken up from the accident at 3am. Haha this episode was so fun.
How Jolene Became Family | ZA005
First off, exciting news on a new journey of self improvement! This is so important to Bran and I and we wanted to get our listeners involved. Also, we will be talking all about how we bought our van Jolene and converted it! Don’t worry Bran didn’t go too far in the weeds on the conversion part! We kept it simple because I know everyone is not a fan of an in depth conversation of ohms, watts and amps😋 We may have had to re-record a few times because Bran really got carried away with in depth stuff. You should have seen my face, even I was slightly lost haha😂
Thank you so much for everyone reaching out about our podcast! If you like it please leave a review on Apple Podcast it is such a big help to us. Thank you!!🙌🏻
Climbing 60k out of debt | ZA 004
Sick of watching your hard earned money go directly to hundreds of dollars of interest every month? Yes, us too! We got in a deep hole of debt so we decided to take out the biggest shovels we could find and started digging. After a full year, we are now debt free and we feel FREE! We are by no means professionals, but in this podcast we just discuss how we got into debt, what we did to get out of debt and what we learned along the way! Be intentional with every purchase you make.
Flooded RV, No problem | ZA 003
Grab the best snack you have near by and tune in to one of our favorite topics to talk about.. our home on wheels, Delilah! We love living in the RV and the $$ we save while doing it. In this episode we talk all about our experience buying it (for 14k and put in 4k in renovations), what we love about the RV life style (SIMPLICITY),the challenges and things we have learned (don't leave your sink running, Bran is the best dishwasher, and buy combo washer and dryers)!
Our Experience with COVID-19 | ZA 002
We knew we had a problem when we couldn't tell the difference between carrots and ice cream. Last week Brandon and I tested positive with COVID-19. It is really bad timing in our training, but to make the best of it we finally have time to kick off our podcast. COVID-19 presented itself in two very different ways for each of us. We wanted to discuss our symptoms in hopes that it can help other people. We were so confused when we contracted if we had it or not because we didn't know anyone else with it. We are not doctors or professionals, but this is just our experience.
First podcast, famous now right? | ZA 001
Hello everyone! We are so excited to finally kick this thing off. What better time to kick off a podcast than when you are quarantined because both of us tested positive for COVID? In today's episode we will talk a little bit about us, where we came from and topics we are going to discuss in our podcasts coming up. Here are a few of the topics we are planning on discussing in the future- 1. Living in an RV for OVER a year 2. Living out of our van Jolene for a summer 3. Living "minimally" 4. Climbing out of debt 5. Pilot things 6. Pretending to be outdoorsy 7. Traveling and so much more! Thank you for tuning in we are so excited to share our life journey with you.
