The Amazon Synod opened with a bizarre--and we do mean BIZARRE--pagan tree ritual thingie.  

On the eve of this horrendous "Amazon Synod," we must redouble our prayer effort!  Here is a lovely chanted version of the familiar prayer to St. Michael the Archangel.  Beg his intercession along with that of our Blessed Mother.  

There's a priest shortage in the Amazon basin.  But do those synod masterminds have the right idea to solve it?  Lady jungle deacons and married tribal elders?  Really?
