The Pedophile Huntress
By Jodie Tedder
Understanding. Understanding. Unquestionable understanding. That’s the message that God has for you! It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now. He gets it! More importantly, He gets you. The pain. The confusion. The lack of ability to change. He knows. Stand still. He’s got you!

A Prisoner by No Crime of My Own | Chapter 2
As a gift to my subscribers, I will begin to post chapters from my audiobook.
Chapter Two
__________
—In The Dream House by Maria Machado
Delaware Lane
In the summer of 1968, we lived on a small tree-lined street called Delaware Lane, the name reminiscent of a place where families live, and children play freely. But my home symbolized nothing of the sort. I grew up with two older sisters, Karen and Crissy, and one brother, Claude. We shared cookies, dinner, sodomy, rape, and baths together.
A Prisoner by No Crime of My Own | Reading from Chapter 13
From my book A Prisoner by No Crime of My Own. Incest. Rape. Murder.
When I was three and a half years old, I murdered a woman. I spent the next fifty years retracing and recovering bent memories that had long been buried by the great force of denial. I went back and fought to uncover the truth that had been buried on forty acres, in a sink hole, on my parents’ property.
Chapter 13 - An Olympic Race People often claim to hunger for truth, but seldom like the taste when it’s served up.
~ A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin

When I was in that process I wished there were resources to help me - resources that weren’t just full of anger and contempt. So, I’d like to share my journey a bit to try to help others who might be considering staying or going in terms of connections to parents, siblings, etc.
We discuss this and more.

The Pedophile Huntress | Episode 5 | Panel Discussion Around Triggers
Triggers are very personal; different things trigger different people. Sensory memory can be extremely powerful and not feel logical. We are triggered through sight, sound, taste, touch and smell.
In incest is often a parent or grandparent that was the abuser. Often someone who resembles the abuser or who has similar traits or objects (i.e. clothing, hair color, distinctive walk) can be very triggering.
So, what happens when you resemble the abuser? You trigger yourself. We discuss what this looks and feels like in the life of a incest survivor.
The Pedophile Huntress | Ep. 4 | Extended Discussion
We finish our conversation and it was good.
** Is it demons or symptoms of PTSD

The panel discusses the impact of incest. Each of these panelist lived in a home of abuse where the father was the hunter. We discuss: 1) Why don't we seek justice for these crimes? Is our justice seeker broken? 2) What would justice look like? 3) What about our anger? Does our fear silence our anger? Our guest panelist wrote me and asked to participate. She said, "It's a shared type of understanding that I've rarely had in life." That is precisely why we are here.
