Run with your heart: Mindfulness meditation for runners
Loss & Change: Running or Walking Mindfulness Meditation towards acceptance and hope during grief
Loss, whether it is a person, relationship, job or opportunity can be hard to move forwards from. When we run, memories are easily triggered, emotions and thoughts. But they can be erratic and this can lead to demotivation or unprocessed feelings.
This mindfulness run is designed to help you unite your mind and body on your journey through grief. It is not a quick fix solution because grief is fluid and has stages and regression.
Please be mindful of your present emotional state before engaging in this meditation especially where there have been traumatic experiences that you are still struggling with.
I hope you find it helpful. Let me know by dropping a message.

Imagining something more like an obtuse isosceles triangle, gradually building up from a fast walk to a fast jog and back down again. Designed as part of a beginners journey to finding a comfortable pace, embracing the heart and getting at peace with your breathing.
No pressure just mindfulness, calming meditation for running, walking or jogging. Gift it a go and see what you think

Ramadan when Eid approaches: Reflecting on your polished heart: Final mindfulness walk in the Ramadan meditation series
A mindfulness, guided meditation for audio walking or running with psychotherapist and Jog On Brand Owner, England Athletics Running and Fitness Leader Lynne Northcott.
Inspired by the two poems as Ramadan draws to an end:
"Dear friend, your heart is a polished mirror. You must wipe it clean of the veil of dust that has gathered upon it, because it is destined to reflect the light of divine secrets." -al-Ghazzal
"Everyone sees the Unseen in proportion to the clarity of his heart, and that depends upon how much he has polished it. Whoever has polished it more sees more--more Unseen forms become manifest to him." -Rumi
Also inspired by Lynn Larkin (two lynne's for the price of one) and her article 'Polishing your Heart' http://www.transformationaltherapy.com/polishing_your_heart.htm

Week 1 Ramadan walks/run - A time for healing and recovery
A guided spiritual walk or run at your own pace. Twenty minutes contemplating the purpose of Ramadan and its opportunity for healing. Ramadan is a recovery prescribed by the greatest of Healers al Shafi. For some people they like to observe Ramadan a bit like a boot camp or vigorous training period. What if we adopted a mindset of recovery and healing instead? What lessons can we learn from verses from the Quran or examples from the Prophet Muhammed that support us utilising the month of fasting and recitation as a period of healing instead?
Ramadan is a unique and spiritual tailor-made prescription from the greatest of healers. It is a two-way treatment programme for those who are in need of nourishing soul food.
Come on a walk, jog or run at your own pace with Lynne Northcott, Brand Owner of Jog On, a mental health sportswear brand. Lynne is also a psychotherapist and mindfulness running guide.
