Episode 11 - Running for Mental Health! - Sasha Wolff - Still I Run
Thank you all for your patience as we have taken a hiatus due to some personal matters over the last month or so.
Our next guest on Real Talk - The Mental Side of Life found her purpose in helping others through discovering the benefits of running in relation to mental health. When searching for a community that would combine the two came up short, she decided to start her own community and it has blossomed into a nationwide project that has helped impact so many people across the country.
Sasha Wolff is the founder and CEO of Still I Run! Their mission - "Still I Run is the country’s only non-profit running community that works to promote the benefits of running for mental health while also working to defeat the stigma, raise awareness around the topic, and help others get started running for their mental health."

As everyday individuals, we have the opportunity to watch athletes at all levels of competition participate in the sport that they love. They placed on some of the highest pedestals in our society and have some of the toughest pressure applied to them given their unique position in the world.
Our next guest is a former professional basketball player turned entrepreneur and advocate for mental health especially for athletes in today's society. He is also an author of a couple of books that are worthwhile to read: Lessons from the Game & Impact Beyond the Game: How Athletes Can Build Influence, Monetize Their Brand, and Create a Legacy.
