In this podcast Full Circle Reviews discuss the post-apocalyptic infection/zombie-ish thriller 28 Days Later. The movie was written by Adam Garland, directed by Danny Boyle, and stars Cillian Murphy, Naomi Harris and an ensemble of supporting characters. The movie takes place after the rage virus set London on a trajectory for disaster and viewers see the repercussions after Jim (Murphy) wakes up after being in a coma to a desolate world with no life left. It is loosely based on the Amanda Knox story. When they say loose, they mean like back alley at the bowling alley loose if you know what I mean. We had more fun reviewing it than watching it. This 2008 Australian Horror/Thriller has the FCR gang debating the purpose of the movie. This movie does exist, it is real, even if some believe the world would be better off without it. It follows a family that lost a sixteen year old daughter, began to notice a haunting or following from the daughter, and then learned that the daughter was in a scandalous relationship. There are some strong opinions, hurt feelings, and disdain during the review. Somehow, they all make it through alive. We Hope you Enjoy.

This film is about the illegal diamond trade, the locals and how their lives are affected, the forces that are in constant war for control, and the corporations and businesses that buy the illegal diamonds and potentially fund the wars. Kristen, Luke, and Justin review the 2012 found footage comedy Project X in this episode. This movie was definitely one of Luke's favorites and he liked it more than Why Him! The film is about three high school seniors that are not a part of the in crowd. Thomas has his 17th birthday coming up and his parents will be out of town, so Costa throws him the most Epic party Pasadena has ever seen. The movie stars a ragtag bunch of first timers, that give their own renditions of high school boys/girls. Give it a listen and listen to the debauchery that ensued within the review.

In this episode the cast reviews Taking Lives the 2004 Crime Thriller starring Angelina Jolie, Kiefer Sutherland, and Ethan Hawke. Angelina Jolie plays an FBI profiler hired to help solve a recent murder in Canada. Ethan Hawke plays a recent victim that got away before abduction, and Kiefer Sutherland is portrayed as the potential murderer. The movie takes some twists and turns, and there is a rare sex scene between Jolie and Hawke. Give us a listen and see if you agree with our review or not.

Venom - Let There be Carnage is the 2021 sequel to the 2016 anti-hero/superhero movie Venom. The film stars Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson, and a directorial debut from Andy Serkis. The FCR gang was taken back by the shift of direction for the sequel and found they were having consistent difficulty finding anything even remotely positive to say about it. The film is arguably the grandfather of the genre and is memorable for a multitude of reasons, the strongest of which being its overall scare factor and advertising campaign at the time the film was released. The Outsiders: The Complete Novel (1983)

During this episode, Kristen, Luke, and Justin review and discuss the extended version of the classic, "The Outsiders". The film is based on a book written by S.E. Hinton about rival groups/gangs in a small town within Oklahoma. The protagonist Ponyboy is a Greaser, which come from the lower class families and live on the wrong side of the tracks. The Socials (Soc's) are the preppy highborn kids from wealthy families. An unfortunate event leads to Ponyboy and one of the other greasers having to skip town and hope for redemption or leniency. The movie stars Patrick Swayze, Tom Cruise, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estivez, Leif Garrett, Ralph Maccio, Matt dillon, C. Thomas Howell, and Diane Lane. The combination of the star-studded cast, coming of age story, and rival gangs gives the crew a lot to talk about. Give us a listen, and let us know what you think?

This is not your typical cop flick with themes of loyalty, devotion, courage, as well as the effect the career of law enforcement has on those closest to those who wear the badge.

On this episode Luke, Kristen and Justin review The Tomorrow War. The movie is the newest Amazon original movie, and the first to seemingly be at blockbuster level. A group decision was made for Kristen to host, because she has had less opportunities than the boys (and she is better than them LOL). The Tomorrow War stars Chris Pratt and is about an ex-Green Beret turned science teacher who is running out of hope for his future. Then suddenly everything changes in an instant when visitors from the future appear during the World Cup and tell of a war that will wipe out humanity. Chris Pratt is drafted soon after and the movie follows his journey to save the world. Luke, Justin, and Kristen discuss many topics including their takes on the ending, the creature of the creature feature, and how much Kristen loves Chris Pratt.

War Dogs is a loose biopic about two young Jewish men in their early 20's who are finding themselves in life, and simultaneously securing government contracts for guns, ammo, armor, etc. It stars Jonah HIll and Miles Teller who both seemed to have found their stride. The duo land two major deals worth millions of dollars, and due to greed end up being caught defrauding the government. Luke, Kristen, and Justin discuss their reactions to the movie, truth vs Hollywood, the idea of being in the position of these two young men, and much more.

During this episode Luke, Kristen, and Justin discuss the mostly unknown film Donnie Darko. Donnie Darko stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Jena Malone, Patrick Swayze, and Maggie Gyllenhaal. The movie is about a high school boy that escapes death because a dark figure resembling a rabbit told him to leave in his dreams. An airplane engine falls on his bed the same night. The troubled teenager (Gyllenhaal) is them prompted to commit a series of crimes in disassociated states while exploring the idea of time travel. Much of this movie is up for interpretation, and there are many theories of what the ending means and if the events during the movie actually happened or not. The hosts discuss their theories, reactions to the movie, and go over the events that transpired.

The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Wahlberg, but has an exceptional supporting cast. The movie follows a group of friends connected by school, basketball, recreational partying, and minor crimes. As the movie progresses the drug use also does for some of the friends, and it sends them all down different paths in life. Luke, Kristen, and Justin discuss the movie, the acting, the emotional impact, and even share some personal experiences from their past.

On this episode of Full Circle Reviews Luke, Kristen, and Justin discuss a 2006 documentary titled The Bridge. The Bridge was made by a kite surfer that while kite surfing in the San Francisco bay saw someone jump from the Golden Gate Bridge to commit suicide. This experience had a huge impact on him. So much so that it motivated his friend and him to setup cameras and record the bridge for a one year period. Luke, Kristen, and Justin discuss the impact the movie had on them, the topic of suicide, the disconnect between the friends/family of the jumpers, and a plethora of other talking points.
