A talk with my 11 year old sis - Baani Khanuja | Ep 32
Well, this is the second time I’ve got my sister on my pod to know her takes on life in general as an 11-year-old. It’s always interesting how their perspectives change as they grow older, and if this podcast sustains, I’m gonna bring on the show every year and see the kind of transition because it’s beautiful on its own.
In this episode we talked about her school, her hobbies, what’s something that she wants to change in this world, to what life, God, and happiness mean to her. And I’m sure you don’t wanna miss hearing what she has to say about all of it.
So consider listening till the end cause we had fun recording, and y’all shall too listening.
Thank you:)

Beyond the Textbook ft. Pranjali Sanwatsarkar | Ep31
Oh, man! What can I say about this episode?
I think this is the best episode I’ve recorded with someone who I’ve debated a lot with, shared happiness with, and perhaps even got scolded for good, but in the end, learned something new; learned something useful, something significant, something prominent.
Well, all of my school teachers have taught me more than what’s in the textbook, and hence this episode of the podcast is all about "beyond the textbook", some parts did align with the subject but I highly-highly recommend y’all to hear the complete episode, if not the last segment of the podcast.
I might invite all of my teachers subsequently but this one’s with my social studies teacher who you’re gonna get to know more about as you go along listening to this one. Again, every time I get back to listening to this one I just can’t stop cherishing it, adoring it, and well today’s a special day, 9th June, when I’m releasing this cause it’s my birthday and I bet y’all would enjoy this one just like how Pranjali teacher and I did.
Chapters:-
- Introduction
- Childhood and Inspiration
- Becoming a teacher and convincing parents
- How to teach?
- Incorporating real-world relevance in class

Love | Ep28
Love- a funny, delirious, healing, wounding, magical, beautiful concept.
This episode is really close to my heart, and I cherish it for what it is. It’s something of my experience as a 16-year-old boy, from where I come, and the things that happened to me and have taught me lessons that no education system or book can have ever done.
I talk about relationships, I talk about bond, and a few concepts like having the right person and the very idea of unloving someone. I even go on to speak about hatred and what love actually means to me.
There’s this one poem that I’d written on love a few months back that’s there in the podcast which is one of the catches. And just so that you know, the complete catch of this podcast is- I never considered a relationship to be between two people, which you’ll get to know as you go on listening till the end, which I highly recommend.
So yeah, take a cup of coffee or tea with you, sit back, and just enjoy the episode.
Chapters of the podcast:-
- Introduction
- Relationship
- Bond
- Understanding, trust, and vulnerability
- Is there a right person?
- Can you UNLOVE someone?
- My poem on Love
- Hate

Company | Ep27
Hey friends,
In this episode of the podcast I mainly talked about how the people we are surrounded with have such a significant impact on us. I go about discussing my story that how I happened to be a part of every group that ever existed and then I got to know about the human condition. The fact that I used to change myself from group to group made me realize the contrast that existed accompanied by the realization that the group was in a way responsible for my personality.
This is a very short yet concise podcast that talks more about my experience, and I feel like I'm documenting one as I go on speaking, and ends with me open-endedly discussing the idea of friends that I wanted to remove the from the podcast but I kept it.
Anyways, I'll go now, and y'all can enjoy the episode, but make sure to share this one.

- People who surround us

Tech Talks - Why should you BUY an IPAD? and Talks about Coffee | Ft. Andy
Hey Friends,
In this episode of the podcast, we started on a very random note. This podcast was totally unplanned which indeed was pre-recorded way back, but found this one as I was cleaning the SSD.
We essentially talked about a bunch of things, starting from our life lately which has no value addition but brings out an essence of a true podcast, to discussing about coffee for a while, and finally talking about IPADs. As Andy and I own an Ipad and we've been using it for a while, we the Apple Fans ventured our take on the table as we've always been fascinated by the product.
We as high school students could have given the best advice that we find strong reasoning behind, and hence we're gonna come up with the conclusion, whether to buy an Ipad or not. If not, what are some other brilliant options - which is the twist in the podcast.
This podcast then ends with a funny-drunk hilarious talk, which again was amazing and made us call for the quell.
Do consider giving it a try and share this one with your friends!

Hey Friends, long time no see! Yet it’s never too late to start a year with something that’s quite fascinating and as profound as the intro is which indeed is pretty indulging to be researched about.
We’re gonna dive deep into Artificial Intelligence today. And I’m very certain of the fact that it’s going to be a curiosity-rich episode of the podcast which is gonna make you question a lot of things that you never otherwise did.
Again, it’s gonna be a short-length podcast but it's gonna be dense enough to bend your mind and bring a smile, haha.
Chapters:-
- Introduction
- What is AI? (the history) How is it being operated lately?
- How does AI work? And how is AI useful to change the world?
- Why are people scared of AI? My experience!
- Is AI gonna destroy the world and the human race?
- Conclusion and Ending.

PEOPLE ft. Overthinking | Ep25
Dude, it’s hilarious. You can’t change people at all but people change just so fast, freakin fast, faster than how you snap and days pass by, faster than you could have ever imagined in your wildest dreams. People forget the promises that they make, people change their priorities, and people are totally changed.
People changing doesn't hurt doesn’t put me into overthinking as much their memories, as much as when I’m trying to find the old one in the new one. And I’m not talking about a single person, or two, but a group of persons. You know what we call them? we call them Friends.
And with what I find delirious, I’m always scared. Someone can be so close for you to go into deep talks one day and a stranger the other day with, with literally zero significance.
Hey friends, this is Kabir Khanuja, and I’m gonna talk about all this in this episode of my podcast. Make sure you give it a try, and you if are gonna, do consider listening till the end, I’d appreciate that.

From the Fattest in the class to Fittest - what a journey! Ep21
In this podcast, I’d be literally breaking down my journey from being the fattest kid in my class weighing 75 kgs when I was 13 and getting trolled, to weighing 59 kgs and getting fit yet healthy. It’s not going to be a tips and tricks sorta thing where I’d be sharing specific exercises and overall diet but more about habits, beliefs, and consistency. How small steps gradually lead to a considerable impact. Why showing up every day is essential, and how does it help in the long term. Just to note that I am not a professional nor did I take any professional advice, it’s totally my journey and experience and I guess the type of content I consumed. Whatever I’ve talked about in the podcast, was all trial and error done by myself, so it’s not necessary that even you should apply every single thing of it but what suits you and your body because whatever I discussed did work for me. Make sure you hear the complete episode, it’s gonna be worth a listen, gonna be concise as well!

Don’t know about light, but time’s really fast | Ep16
In this podcast, I talk about time.
Here's the intro of the podcast -
A cheetah does run really fast and so does the deer, a bullet train is snappy for real no cap, and even a bullet from a gun. An arrow is fast, a machine is fast, so many things out there are so fast. But these have something in common. These stop at a point in time, seriously, they stop. You can’t expect a wildebeest running around and just not stopping.
The point is, there’s a thing as far as I know that never waits, that never really stops for anyone and that is time. I seriously don’t know the speed of light, but I’m damn sure, for me, the time has been the fastest. Feels like I experienced my last 10 years yesterday and snap, here I am making podcasts inconsistently!

5 Major Takeaways from 2021 | Ep14
Happy Newyear Everyone! Though while uploading there are still 3 days though lol. Anyways, in this podcast, I talk about my personal 5 major takeaways from the experiences I was able to live this year, 2021. I'm hoping that this podcast can impact the way people think and hope it turns out well in the end, so I'd like all of you to share this with your friends out there and help me with my purpose.
Takeaways:-
1. Health is precious and we shouldn't take it for granted
2. Learning and applying in the course of aiming and achieving is more important than just achieving and enjoying; its short term
3. Time’s not waiting for your excuses to turn real, nor it’s waiting for you to start
4. Life has got some gems, out of which there are priceless friends
5. Failure is not something to be guilty of, it’s something to learn, move on, maybe fail again, maybe succeed, but just not lose hope
2021’s ending, I started podcasting this year, started article writing, learned many things, failed in a few things, succeeded in a few, great year, and these were my major takeaways.

Being Rebel... | Ep13
In this podcast, I talk about the idea of being a rebel in society. I go about sharing my personal experience accompanied by pros and cons.
Greatest of philosophers present around the world, giving out their philosophies, greatest of teachers teaching the uneducated how things work. Parents imposing some conventional ways to live life just as how they were taught, and animals being caged in the zoo. Well, I came down from the 80s to the 30s, to the 20s, where all we do is accept and then there are animals with no privilege to question.
We debate as participants and not as persons, when you start questioning as a person, you get to know the grounds.- Who are yes men
- Why do we need to question
- My story of being a rebel
- Pros and Cons of being a rebel
- Greatest takeaway and conclusion

Mysterious India Part 2 ft. Aryan Sutar | ep12
This is the second part of the series Mysterious India.
Mystery, something that is difficult or impossible to understand or explain, something that is not in our hands not able to achieve the notion behind it. Imagine a flag waving against the wind and not with the wind, imagine food being cooked without keeping it near the fire, imagine someone's heart is preserved. Just imagine a dark door with nowhere, I'm just saying on the podcast to imagine, but today as again, with one of the most knowledgeable people I know, we are gonna research about such preposterously terrifying places situated in India and try to dig in about ghosts, dark side, paranormal activities, mysterious places, sole, inhuman spirits, black magic, and the energies that are far beyond our control. Make sure you have fun listening to it and might have goosebumps too.
'Light is Creation, Darkness is Obvious.' - Kabir Khanuja
Today, as again, we had one of the most knowledgeable people I know, Aryan Sutar. We discussed mysterious sites in India and had a funky discussion getting to know the story behind it. Consider listening to it and getting to know about the history behind such spooky sites in India

The Hour of Procrastination | ep11
What's procrastination, such a heavy word for some but common these days in the fashion saying that I procrastinated instead of saying I delayed and that states its meaning. I won't call it the ability but the disability everyone is born with, a tendency to postpone something.
And the thing that differentiates between the people who are super intense or we say fake procrastinators and the ones who do procrastination for real is that they both are independent of perceiving the fact that they all do procrastinate
The very hour where things aren't making sense given the work that you have that makes sense and is fairly important but we tend to do things that are useless or even useful but aren't necessarily significant at that particular moment is one of the definitions of the Hour of Procrastination.

Study for Exams | Ep10
Remember, it's not about what you have missed or you are gonna do bad or you gonna fail, these failures are the major takeaways, and when you actually apply them the next time and they do get reflect for real, that is what makes it precious yet vital. Therefore I ask myself before or after every exam, that what was the one thing or even many things that went wrong as in my studying technique or even lifestyle that I need to learn from and apply to be at least 1% better version of myself. Keep competing with yourself, your goals and you might discern a change.

What is Productivity? ft. Andy K | ep9
At some point in our life, we come across this very word, productivity, isn't it? We say, yeah my day was productive, we say yeah I've done some productive work, right? In an economic context, productivity is how to measure the output that comes from units of input and that's how we even relate to our life. Getting as many things as possible in a day we call productivity, a measure of efficiency.
When you think of someone productive in your life, you may immediately picture a person who is busy all the time. This individual is constantly moving through tasks, pushing deadlines, and seemingly trapped under a pile of duties that seems to grow each day. We often make the mistake of equating just being busy with being productive, but they aren’t the same thing. When you’re meeting the true definition of productivity, you won’t be chasing deadlines or running five steps behind on everything you need to get done in a day, week, month, or year. It’s quite the contrary; you’ll probably be ahead of schedule, says Tony Robbins.
Today we've my pal Aneesh Kadam, also known as Andy for the second time with us. We started this journey of productivity and minimalism last year while lockdown and today we'd manifest our learnings and share the experience of how does it feel to be productive and what's the outcome? If you wanna know about what is being productive and how to make that happen, make sure you listen to the complete podcast and I'm sure there's a lot to learn from it and you'd enjoy!

Mysterious India ft. Aryan Sutar | ep8
Ghosts, dark side, paranormal Activities, mysterious places, sole, inhuman spirits, black magic, these all things gave us and still gives us goosebumps while we're watching movies. Some of the movies are based on true events while some are not, but still, they are terrifying. One thing which makes it relaxing is that we're watching it on the screen and it hasn't happened with us nor did we ever had such kind of experience, but what if I say, in India, where I am living, there exist such places where we find such activities every day. Isn't that ridiculously terrifying, right?
'Light is Creation, Darkness is Obvious.' - Kabir Khanuja
Today we had one of the most knowledgeable people I know, he's my schoolmate, Aryan Sutar. We discussed mysterious sites in India and had a funky discussion getting to know the story behind it. Consider listening to it and getting to know about the history behind such spooky sites in India

Lifestyle, Relationships, Spirituality ft. Harsh B | ep7
Today we have a very special guest with us, he's one of the guys, who was pretty arrogant and immature back then, before the covid thing. You know what, this lockdown has its own benefits. People got to know themselves quite better. This guy has changed himself drastically in terms of his mindset and point of view.
We talked about:
Lifestyle matters, lifestyle truly matters and when I say lifestyle matters, I mean a healthy lifestyle. Without a structured yet healthy lifestyle, it’s really hard to grind the kind of productivity. Having a healthy lifestyle is all about choosing to live your life in the healthiest way possible.
The relationship is the way in which two or more people or things are connected, there’s a certain sense of correspondence between them, a sense of association, link, a bond. You know what, the relationship was something and should be something that makes life simple, makes things easier and good to go, but today the reality is completely changed, it’s just simply ruined.
Spirituality can be defined as the quality of being concerned with the human spirit, I mean it helps us to gain self-awareness. See basically Spirituality is a broad concept with room for many perspectives. In general, it includes a sense of connection to something bigger than ourselves, and it typically involves a search for meaning in life. As such, it is a universal human experience—something that touches us all.

Why not Financial Education? | ep6
Robert Kiyosaki says that - One of the reasons the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the middle-class struggle in debt is that the subject of money is taught at home, not in school. Most of us learn about money from our parents. So what can poor parents tell their children about money? They simply say "Stay in school and study hard." The child may graduate with excellent grades, but with a poor person's financial programming and mindset.
Sadly money is not taught in schools. Schools focus on scholastic and professional skills, but not on financial skills. This explains why smart bankers, doctors, and accountants who earned excellent grades may struggle financially all of their lives. Our staggering national debts are due in large part to highly educated politicians and government officials making financial decisions with little or no training in the subject of money.
Rich-poor, middle-class, poverty starts with a fundamental attitude. Poverty is passed on it's taught in your families and middle classes taught in families and so the people right now who are sitting at home who are struggling financially or worried about money or unhappy they may be making a lot of money but unhappy with what they're doing it was probably taught to you, you know your superego was taught get a job work hard or you'll never be rich or the rich or evil or whatever the school system will never teach you about money the school system was designed to teach you to be an employee which is important or a doctor or a lawyer a specialist but never about money and what most people lack is real business knowledge like accounting you know like debt like taxes you gotta know that stuff but they don't teach it in school to anybody

#1 Bonus Podcast - FACTS & HUMOR | A Productive Day in my Life
Listeners, here's what you got our first bonus episode of ThatOneThinker, the thinker, who also has a life. Wanna know, what all did I do today, so make sure, you have fun listening to this relaxed bonus podcast.
Basically, this series is the bonus series dedicated to Facts and Humor where I'd be talking about something that I don't really talk about, away from the whole cheeky motivational thing.
Well, this is what you call a bonus episode where I'd be sharing about my life a bit, away from what I do on the podcast.
So, my day generally doesn't go as planned, actually, it never goes. Yup, it's true that you should make a timetable and that allows you to get resilience but it never happens in my case. I've got new challenges and difficulties to face which are absolutely uncertain. At times, when I'm kinda unassured about the next day and how will it got, I make a task list converting to a timetable just to feel confident yet, that doesn't go as planned. And yes, people do regret it when things don't go as they want and the same is in my case. Not really regret, I mean, kinda regret but moreover a bit angry. Hence, whenever I plan my day and it doesn't go the way I want I keep reminding myself of this one particular quote I wrote.
"Not everything we plan goes the way we want. There are gonna be different challenges to face. Be strong enough to face them rather than regretting what were you prepared for."- Kabir Khanuja
Remember, tomorrow, my day's not gonna be like that of today, I might have more meetings or might have more load of assignments to complete or have to study more, so it's quite undetermined, therefore even if you make a task list or a timetable and fail to complete a couple of items, never regret.
📧 I also write a weekly email newsletter. Each Sunday, I share some thoughts about tech and productivity along with some finance and entrepreneurship articles or the podcast which I've been enjoying. Subscribe - getrevue.co/profile/kabirkhanuja
Embracing Failure | ep5
"Embracing failure widens one's vision impacting further; either can it be a great success or a learning failure" - Kabir Khanuja
As per me, embracing failure conveys the fact that you accepted your failure, you accepted that you've lost and it's your reality, it's your truth. But, you know what's so special about being a loser? It's the fact that you got nothing to lose. And it's absolutely true. And that, you've gained something which you never discerned. You've gained a way to lose that you're not gonna take the next time. You've walked through it and the outcome has shown up. Not putting effort and failing has to totally do with the person himself. Whether to do or not with a thing, keep complaining without giving every bit of yourself regardless of the outcome.
- We do something, either we succeed or we fail. But what is something that we didn't discern? It's the fact that we've got a kind of experience in either of them.
- We gained a sense of understanding, we learned something out of it, we discovered new paths, and the paths to be walked on or not. Newton didn't fail 10000 times, he has found 10000 ways that won't work. Whatever is the outcome, the ideology for learning from either of them keeps the maximum importance in itself.
- You gotta accept your reality, you gotta embrace your reality.
"Success is a lousy teacher. It makes smart people think they can't lose." - Bill Gates.
When you embrace your failure, you make it a friend, make it a companion with the notion that it keeps you motivated, keeps you inspired yet you learn from it every time. Failure teaches you things that nothing else can teach you.
Purpose Vs Passion | ep4
"Perceive your purpose, not your passion" - Kabir Khanuja
If you wanna get successful in life, it's important that you chase purpose over passion, as purpose gives you resilience, and that's what will get you ahead. Instead of asking what makes you happy and "following your passion," instead ask yourself what you care deeply about. By focusing on purpose, you align your work with your deepest values and also relieve yourself of the expectation that the long slog of a career will be all (or even mostly) happiness and sunshine.
Lessons:
- Life purpose is the fundamental point of life: A life purpose is s fundamental step to live your most conscious life. While you can be busy with a million tasks every day, when you don’t have a clear purpose, you may be heading down the wrong path.
- Purpose lets you be persistent and gives you resilience: Following passion after deciding the purpose as when you pursue your purpose, you gain an incredible burst of energy that keeps you going.
- Purpose lets you live a life of meaning: When you pursue your purpose, your life becomes filled with direction and meaning yet, it will assist you to clarify, what's important vs what's unimportant.
"Passion will help you sustain in this world just by paying your bills, but it's a short-term plan for your survival. It's the purpose that will help you know the meaning of life, well, a life of meaning and help you be motivated through-out to live, and that's what you call a long-term plan!" - Kabir Khanuja
The greatest accomplishment | ep3
Well, there's always a scope of improvement, there's always a scope to get better than what you were before or what you did before. Keeping up with this theory, the quote has been written. Ability in terms of anything, but when enhanced - meaning - when it is intensified to get better is what makes it an absolute achievement. There's always a limit to everything and anything. This limit is where you end. And that end, my friend, is great. Nothing can be better than that as the end is limitless, but has a limit.
The scruple to begin | ep2
"The scruple to begin lets you procrastinate, preserving was never the issue" - Kabir Khanuja
We got many ideas in our heads, we got many plans yet there are reasons we never execute them. It might have happened that if we would have executed them and it might have a great impact perhaps changed your life. The ultimate problem one has is that one hesitates to begin, it might be a reason or an excuse or the habit of overthinking, the hesitation comes. To overcome this hesitation is the gameplay! As after starting when the subject fascinates you, one automatically functions like that and continues to do that.
What does it feel like after coming first? | ep1
"Life might be a race and people might overtake you, but reaching the top perhaps won't give you that much happiness that the journey will give. Let the journey be a pleasure reflecting a promising result" - Kabir Khanuja
