Kandid Chronicles Podcast

Today (22 September) is the Autumn Equinox. Or Mabon as it's called too. It falls between the 21st and 23rd of September every year, and this year it's falling on the 22nd. So, as today is Wednesday and the day I write poetry, I thought - why not create a poem all about the Equinox? Here it is.

I feel like autumn is on the way, and maybe this poem relates to that. I meant to write it for last week, but life took up a lot of my time and so this is a week late. Oh well. I hope you enjoy it anyway!

Oh wow, is Autumn really on the way? How time flies. And that's a little about what this week's poem is all about. That and how we strive for more and want more in our lives...

So this week's poem is entitled 'Freedom', and it sort of came about from the situation on the news about Afghanistan... I hope you like it.

I felt very autumnal at the beginning of this week thanks to torrential downpours... I ended up lighting candles because of it, and so this poem was born.
