My Korean Drama Obsession

In Episode 5's March Drama Madness, we talk about Touch, Dr. Romantic 1 and 2, Melo Is My Nature, Psychopath Diary, Bride of the Water God, and The World Owes Me a First Love.  I briefly mention what I am currently watching, which is Forest and Tell Me What You Saw.  Coronavirus has the world in its grips right now, so I hope you are all staying as safe as possible.

The last episode of Melting Me Softly ended with both Go Mi Ran and Ma Dong Chan realizing that they’ve lost 20 years. In this episode, we are looking forward to Go Mi Ran and Ma Dong Chan meeting up again after an ice nap that lasted two decades. Let’s jump into episode three, titled The Days We Lost!

This is a brief review of the second episode of Melting Me Softly, starring Ji Chang Wook and Won Jin Ah.  Melting Me Softly is a contemporary drama that also falls into the comedy, romance, sci-fi, and even fantasy sub-genres - there is something for everyone.  The second episode is titled Resurrection, and in it we see the two main characters come off ice and back into reality with a 20 year gap in their lives.  "Let's ride camels, and raise cactus, and eat buffaloes."

This podcast is a quick and dirty review for episode one of the Korean drama Melting Me Softly starring Ji Chang Wook, Won Jin Ah, and Yoon Se Ah.  It is a contemporary drama that branches into several sub-genres (comedy, romance, sci-fi, and even fantasy).  Other titles for this drama based on translation are Make Me Melt and Let Me Melt, but it will surely make YOU melt.  Come join me as I review episode one, and feel free to drop suggestions, comments, and/or support!

This is just the first trial episode for my attempted Korean Drama podcast.  I'm trying out Anchor for the podcast, talking a little about myself and how I started watching dramas, favorite dramas, and what I am currently watching.  In this episode I mention Goblin, The Scholar who Walks the Night, Melting Me Softly, Hwayugi (Korean Odyssey), Strong Girl Do Bong Soon, Flower Crew: Joseon Matchmaking Agency, and The Tale of Nokdu.  I'm hoping to be able to do these podcasts regularly at least as a way to share my enjoyment of dramas with other people.
