The Good Samaritan Blessing - S2, Ep 21
There is a connection between strangers and success. Strangers are God's secret stash of supporters that produces success in the lives of those on a mission to do business, until He comes. It is recorded in the Bible that many people got unexpected blessings because of strangers. However, many miss the “Good Samaritan Blessing/Stranger Blessing” because they subscribe to the idea of Stranger Danger…..and because they don’t know how to properly welcome and entertain strangers as a solution source. Instead, they're fixated on getting assistance from familiar, unattuned sources of support.
Today's episode is a reminder that God has appointed strangers to aid in our success.

Temporary seasons in life are seasons that make you feel like you're stuck, in a ditch and impatiently waiting for a tow truck. Seasons are how nature cycles from one season to the next. In today's episode, Keeler will discuss how to harmonize our psychology and behaviors with the rhythm of the seasons of transformational cycles, so that we thrive during temporary moments of life.

Intellectual Humility – Ep 24
How do you deal with mistakes or admitting you’re wrong? We all know the uncomfortable feeling of suddenly realizing that mistakes have been made, and the mistakes were our own. You can admit the mistake, take whatever consequences might be forthcoming, or you can try to hide or deny your faults. It usually feels a lot easier to hide the truth. There's something about being human that makes us hesitate to admit fault, even when it's obvious to us and to everyone else that we’re wrong. Intellectual humility is simply: the recognition that the things you believe in might in fact be wrong. It’s about entertaining the possibility that you may be wrong.
Admitting we are wrong shows others that we are compassionate, empathetic, sympathetic, and good listeners. It also shows that we are capable of being objective about ourselves and that we not perfect or always right. Admitting flaws allows others to see our vulnerability. It also opens the door to meaningful conversations and relationship growth.
In today's episode, Keeler will discuss how to admit our mistakes and admit when we're wrong.

Jealousy Has No Friends – Ep 23 (Pt 2)
Have you ever experienced jealousy? Was someone jealous of you or were you jealous of someone else? How did that feel? What (if anything) did you do to change it?
Many of us are so preoccupied or consumed with the things that other people have until it reaches a point that the spirit of jealousy is activated. I believe at some point in our lives, all of us were faced with the spirit of Jealousy. However, some are mild while others are very extreme. Jealousy is a sinful act and leads to division, hate, and even murder.
In today's two part episode, Keeler will discuss the dangers of having a spirit of jealousy, how it can hold us back from God's best and how to overcome it.

How To Stop Taking Things for Granted – Ep 22
We all take things for granted, especially things that seem everlasting - our health, our family, and even life in general.
Their presence is usually steady and dependable, and because of this they start to fade into the backdrop of our daily lives. They have been there for a long time, so we assume they will always be there. When we forget to pay sufficient attention to something, we underestimate its value and forget to be grateful. And, once they are gone, we can’t help but think of all the time we could have spent paying attention to them and valuing them.
The good news is, there is a way to prevent this. In today's episode, Keeler will discuss things we need to stop taking for granted.

Why Mentors Matter – Ep 14
Ask any successful person what the key to their success is most of them will tell you they had great mentors and will attribute significance to those relationships in supporting them obtain their success. Effective mentoring can be rewarding for both mentees and mentors. Having a mentor is not a sign of weakness; it shows you are smart enough and are driven enough to succeed.
Mentoring has proved so beneficial that 71% of Fortune 500 companies offer mentoring programs to their employees. While these statistics are encouraging, it’s important to remember that mentoring is not a magic wand that automatically creates success. The truth is that effective mentoring takes effort and creating successful mentoring relationships requires specific skills, sensibilities and structure from both the mentor and the mentee.

The Power of Surrendering – Ep 11
Every day in this world is a shaky, uncertain, constantly changing landscape — and that causes us to try to get control.
We create lists, systems, routines, schedules, comfortable environments … we build our whole lives and identities around these comforts and control. We try to control the uncontrollable ever shifting landscape of our lives.
But it doesn’t always work. You can’t get a firm grasp on the fluidity of life. And so we get stressed, procrastinate, feel hurt, get depressed or anxious, get angry or frustrated, lash out or complain.
In all of this craziness I’d like to suggest the power of surrendering.

5 Fears of Playing Safe & Small – Ep 10
Have you ever missed out on a great opportunity because you played it safe?
Most of us have a tendency to play it safe. Some of us equate playing it safe with being sensible and prudent. But most of the time, it’s something else altogether. Playing it safe is not about safety at all. The real problem isn’t safety or risk at all. The real problem is fear. Most of us simply don’t understand fear, where it comes from or the role it plays in what we choose to do or not do.
In today's episode, Keeler will discuss the five fears that cause us to play it safe and keep us small, thereby preventing us from spreading our wings and living our BEST life.

4 Ways to Reduce Negative Self-Talk – Ep 7
We all have an inner critic. This little voice can often be more harmful than helpful, particularly when it gets into the realm of excessive negativity. This is known as negative self-talk, and it can really bring us down. Negative self-talk, or "inner critic," may sound a lot like a critical parent or friend from your past.
There are different ways to reduce the self-talk in your daily life.
1. Expose Your Critic
Learn to notice when you're being self-critical so you can begin to stop it. Notice when you say things to yourself that you wouldn't say to a good friend or a child.
2. Give Your Inner Critic a NicknameWhen you think of your inner critic as a force outside of yourself and even give it a goofy nickname, it's not only more easy to realize that you don't have to agree, but it becomes less threatening and more easy to see how ridiculous some of your critical thoughts can be.
3. Cross-Examine Your Inner Critic
One of the damaging aspects of negative self-talk is that it often goes unchallenged. Catch your negative self-talk and ask yourself how true it is. The vast majority of negative self-talk is an exaggeration and calling yourself on this can help to take away the damaging influence of negative self-talk.
4. Shift & Reframe Your PerspectiveSometimes looking at things in the long term can help you to realize that you may be placing too great an emphasis on something. For example, you may ask yourself if something you're upset by will really matter in five years or ten. This can often minimize the negativity, fear and urgency in negative self-talk. Reframe with positive self-talk using affirmations. The ThinkUp app is great for affirmations.

How To Pitch Yourself & Your Business - Ep 6
If you're looking for a new job, career change, new clients or business sponsors, pitching yourself or your business is a great way to do so. When it's done right, it should leave recruiters, employers and potential clients wanting to know more. Today's episode provides the dos and don'ts of developing the perfect elevator pitch.
What To Include When Pitching?
Your elevator speech should be brief. Restrict the speech to 30-60 seconds — that's the time it takes to ride an elevator, hence the name. You don't need to include your entire work history and career objectives. Your pitch should be a short recap of who you are and what you do.
You need to be persuasive. Even though it's a short pitch, your elevator speech should be compelling enough to spark the listener's interest in your idea, organization or background.
Share your skills. Your elevator pitch should explain who you are and what qualifications and skills you have. Try to focus on assets that add value in many situations. This is your chance to brag a bit — avoid sounding boastful but do share what you bring to the table.
Practice, practice, practice. The best way to feel comfortable about giving an elevator speech is to practice it until the speed and “pitch” come naturally, without sounding robotic. The more you practice, the easier it will be to deliver it when you’re at a career networking event or job interview.
Try saying your speech out loud to a friend or record it. This will help you know whether you're keeping within the time limit and giving a coherent message.
Mention your goals. You don't need to get too specific. An overly targeted goal isn't helpful since your pitch will be used in many circumstances and with many different types of people. But do remember to say what you're looking for. For instance, you might say, "a role in accounting" or "an opportunity to help you grow achieve your DEI initiatives.”
Know your audience and speak to them. In some cases, using jargon can be a powerful move — it demonstrates your industry knowledge. But be wary of using jargon during an elevator pitch, particularly if you're speaking to recruiters, who may find the terms unfamiliar and off-putting. Keep it simple and focused.
Have a business card ready. If you have a business card, offer it at the end of the conversation as a way to continue the dialog. If you don’t, you could offer to use your smartphone to share your contact information. A copy of your resume, if you're at a job fair or a professional networking event, will also demonstrate your enthusiasm and preparedness

The "Disease of Unfulfillment" - Ep 5
Are You Inhabiting Your Full Potential? If not, it’s probably because you are getting in your own way…via your own Upper Limit Problem.
I can promise you that your own version of the Upper Limit Problem is still holding you back from achieving your true potential. In fact, the more successful you get, the more urgent it becomes to identify and overcome your Upper Limit Problem. If you don’t clear the Upper Limit Problem out of your way, it will be a drag on you until the day you die. In the early days of the steam-powered train, learned scientists urged capping the speed at thirty miles per hour because they believed that the human body exploded at speeds greater than that. Eventually, some brave people risked going beyond that limiting belief and found that they did not explode.
I’ve discovered that when we cling to the notion that something’s not possible, we’re arguing in favor of limitation. And if we argue for our limitations, we get to keep them. Ultimately, we have to ask ourselves, “What’s the payoff for arguing forcefully for our limitations?” In the case of the steam engine, scientists were trying to protect people from harm. The limiting belief was well-intentioned even though it was flawed. In this podcast, I want you to go into your inner depths, where your most deeply held beliefs about what’s possible reside and confront your Upper Limit Problem.
If you want to go HIGHER and experience a LIFE of ultimate success in your health, wealth, work and in love, you must remove the internal obstacles and internal blocks that prevent access. How do we live in fulfillment? We do this by living in our Zone of Genius.
