Episode 27: Werewolf Lore and Origin
We are starting spooky season a little early! In this episode Kelsey will be talking about werewolves. Werewolves have a lot of different origin stories. One of the oldest can be found in the Greek story, The Legend of Lycaon. A lot of origin stories center around the consumption of human flesh and how wrong it is to eat your fellow man. And because you ate your fellow man, the gods decided that you would be cursed to transform into a werewolf every full moon. Some of the story's center around men finding wolf pelts out in the forest and by putting them on they would transform for a center amount of time. Please note, we will be dedicating full episodes to the werewolf trails and wendigo type creatures. Please rate, review and subscribe. Tell a Friend.

Episode 21 Part Two of Victorian Death
We apologize for this being uploaded a week late. The software/app that we use to record decided to not record Johnny for over half of it. Thank you for being patient with us. For this episode Kelsey will be continuing on Victorian death. We will be talking about how they changed how we grieve today. We still practice a lot of the things for example, we still do funeral processions, we have very large headstones and embalming is almost monitory in a lot of states. You would be lucky if you made it out of childhood and then you would be super lucky if you made to 50. Death was everywhere. They became very comfortable with death. They knew that everyone would die at some point. They saw omens in everything that they did. They even had superstitions about death. Kelsey goes into some of things that people considered omens and some of the superstitions that people had at the time surrounding death. Kelsey reviews The Invention of Murder: How The Victorians Revelled in Death and Detection and Created Modern Crime by: Judith Flanders. Johnny does not anything to review. *gasp*
