I Wanna Sing For You: with Fraser Watt
Hey! Kerri Watt here, a singer-songwriter from Scotland. Join me as I discuss the creative process involved in releasing an album in 2021 with special guests from the team of creatives that helped inspire and achieve the vision for my debut record, "Neptune's Daughter".
In the final episode of the series, I'm so happy to welcome my younger brother Fraser to the podcast. Fraser has an exciting career as an up and coming producer out in Nashville after studying at legendary music school Berklee in Boston. The music he's written and produced has been heard on radio stations across the globe from his home in the US, to a recent single release in India and a Christmas song on BBC Radio 2. He also played a big role in the making of my album, producing all the acoustic tracks and singing backing vocals on half the songs! A perfect guest to end a fun series.

Besides being an incredibly talented singer-songwriter herself, Milly also has an exciting career in TV and film which has seen her work with David Attenborough and produce shows like the EMA's.
Between silly stories of our past, we talk about the music videos Milly produced and directed for my album, including Jessie and Kissing Fools as well as a bit more insight into the lyric writing of 'Spoonful of Sugar' which she also co-wrote!

You've heard that old silly song from the 40's, "I'm My Own Grandpa" right? RIGHT?! Well this week... I'm my own guest! Between all the wonderful collaborations I worked on for this record, more than half the songs were written by me on my own including Hellfire, Band of Gold, Cut Me Loose and Jessie. I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself and took you on a journey into the past to tell (a very condensed) story of what sparked my interest in performing and music all those years ago and how it led me to making this record.
