Should I Edit My Audio?
Ā Ā
Many argue that authenticity is king. They do no editing and push out the podcast rawā¦Some People can do thatā¦ great voice ā¦ hot on the topic and donāt need to refer to anything and can think o their feetā¦
Unfortunately most of us cant do thatā¦ we um and ah for sureā¦ but more than thatā¦ itās the uncomfortable pausesā¦
A recent article I read said that in a study people were more likely to drop or unsubscribe if the audio was sketchy before they will if the video is ā¦
But more of a surprise is the number that drop if there is a long pauseā¦
And thatās what we are talking about today onĀ

How Do Cultural Differences Effect Body Language?
It used to be that the studying the cultural differences and it effect on body language was what someone would take in school as a step to something else.Ā
Kind of yeah thatās interesting but not vital in the course of daily living.Ā
But here is the dealĀ
with our globalized economy and greater exposure to diverse cultures,Ā
understanding differences in body language can have a huge impact on many aspects of work, business, and personal life.
And thatās what we are talking about today onĀ
Its Kevin Just sayin
So what are some Examples of Cultural Differences when it comes to body languageā¦
Cultural differences in body language may show up in a wide variety of ways,Ā
such as the amount of physical touch,Ā
the conversational distance between people,Ā
the interactions between same genders,Ā
the interactions between different genders, and the like.
For example, some cultures are very expressive when it comes to physical touch.Ā
Think about Italy where a big hug and kiss on each cheek is considered a common and acceptable greeting,Ā
and then compare it to Japan where a proper greeting consists of a respectful bow and no touch at all.
Personal space and comfort distances are very personal, of course, but they also are influenced by cultural expectations.Ā
In South America, for instance,Ā
personal space and comfort distances tend to be quite small.Ā
People stand very close to each other to talk, even when they donāt know each other very well.Ā
Go to the United States, though,Ā
and personal space becomes much larger;Ā
people are not as comfortable when others stand close to them,Ā
especially if they are not very well acquainted.
Cultural differences in body language extend to gender interactions as well.Ā
Many cultures still view men as dominant and of higher status than women, and their body language expectations reflect this view.Ā
Women may be expected to avert their eyes in the presence of a man, or walk a few steps behind him.Ā
Western cultures, in general, have gradually revised their gender expectations to allow men and women to share more equal status in terms of acceptable body language.

we automatically give away our leverage and negation opportunity!Ā

How to improve your personal and business productivity
Many of the concepts and ideas I teach come from many years as an investigator. Combine thatās with all the years of customer service and sales I have amassed a mountain of informationā¦ much of this will sound like straight salesā¦ however all of these concepts can be applied in a variety of situations and all ove them will improve your personal and business productivity...
If you're a teacherā¦ when a student knows you care and are connecting with them they will be more open to instruction
As an HR managerā¦ you deal with people all day longā¦ interviewing hiring firingā¦ wouldnāt it be nice to know exactly where they are in their head before you deliver your informationā¦
If your in sales you know when you have made that connection with your clientā¦ and its easy peezy from that point onā¦
And thatās what we are talking about today on its kevin just sayin

9 body language signals only the best Presenters can read
Do you present to an audience, or teach a class of any kind? Are you in sales, cars, houses or really anything?
The ability to read body language signals and respond accordingly is an important weapon in a salespersonās arsenal.
As a salesperson, you should be actively seeking to āhearā your prospectās body language, as much as youāre listening to the words theyāre saying.
On some level, we humans naturally pay attention and react to body language.
When you see someone smile, you know instinctively that theyāre happy (or at least indicating positive feelings to you). You know the proper response is most often to smile back.
But great salespeople are experts at paying attention to the full range of their prospectās body language, from dramatic gestures right down to the smallest ātells,ā which they consciously use to shape and change their presentations and conversations with the prospect.

Political Body language: What They Use and What You Should Know!
Effective leadership depends on the ability to inspire and positively impact people. Ā Ā In preparing for an important meeting ā with your staff, leadership team, or clients ā you concentrate on what to say, memorize crucial points, and rehearse your presentation so that you will come across as credible and convincing. This is, of course, something you already know.
But did you also know that the people youāre hoping to influence will be subliminally evaluating your credibility, confidence, empathy, and trustworthiness ā and that their evaluation will be only partially determined by what you say? Did you know that your use of personal space, physical gestures, posture, facial expressions, and eye contact can enhance, support, weaken, or even sabotage your impact as a leader?
Moral and Ethical Question about Reading Micro Expressions and Body Language
Is it morally or even ethically acceptable to read the micro expressions on someones face? They didn't want you to know what they were feeling but it "leaked out". Should the police be able to act on something you didn't give them the right to collect?
This is what I'm talking about today...
on "It's Kevin... Just Sayin"
How, and the why, I Learned Micro Expressions and Body Language
Ā
After a back injury forced me to leave front line firefighting, I needed something else i could do and stay in the fire service. It was a long crazy journey through three colleges and a bunch of technical schools but i was an investigator!Ā
But that wasn't enough for me. I love learning and this was no different. I couldn't leave any rock upturned, I wanted to know more. Not just more about investigations but more about the mind of the people i was investigating.
I have over 1000 hours of interviews and 1 on 1 discussions with FBI and ATF investigators to get my answers. I wanted to know more about human behavior.Ā
Now i want to bring that to you...Ā
