#80 Why Your Content Sucks and How to Fix it with Michael Richeson
I have admired Michael for awhile. He makes incredibly engaging content and is humble and self deprecating, a rarity in the marketing space. He openly shares how he continues to help his clients improve their engagement and make better content. Spoiler alert, it's not to get a certain type of camera. I learned a lot about how to make better content from our conversation and I hope it helps you too. If you are interested in making better content, this is a must listen.

#79 How Churches Are Navigating the Pandemic and Why Cobra Kai is Awesome!

We reminisce, talk about his experience leading a church, and discuss the merits of Cobra Kai. We had a fun time and even if you're not into religious content, I think you'll like this episode just because Chad is a great guy! #67 Trader Joe's protests, Tiger King doesn't get pardoned, Cobra Kai is legit, and We Build Our All Time NBA Teams
My friend Brendon and I cover a bunch of topics. We are all over the place. It was supposed to be a podcast mostly where we argue over our all time NBA teams. But, we also covered why you suck if you protest masks at retail locations. I also ride hard for Cobra Kai and talk about how disappointed the Tiger King must be to not be eating McChickens right now. Was the last episode about COVID and this episode we talk about Tiger King not getting pardoned? Yup. Also, I'm still learning the new software I'm using. I know the audio wasn't great on the pod with Miranda about COVID. The video version is posted and the audio is a little better on Youtube. If you want to see old pics of Brendon you can find his IG here. Thanks for hanging with me as I work out the kinks with the new gear and new software! I appreciate you!
#66 A Nurse's Perspective on COVID, My Conversation with Miranda Hire
I had a chance to talk to Miranda last week. We talked about all things Covid, from her experiences at the beginning of the pandemic, to the vaccine roll out. She also tells a gnarly story about one of the worst things she's seen in the ER. I honestly cut it kind of short cause it was making me queasy. Anyway, Covid is a highly polarizing topic. We did our best to just report her experiences and what she has noticed. It can be difficult to know who is telling the truth, so I wanted to get a perspective of someone who is actually doing the work on the ground every day. You can find out more about her by connecting with her in Instagram. Thank you again as always for listening! Make sure to subscribe on the platform of your choice! I appreciate you!
#65 David Dobrik Almost Killed Him with a Pine Cone: My Conversation with Alex Neumann
Alex Neumann aka New Alex is a recurring member of David Dobrik's vlog. We talk about how he navigates the two vastly different worlds he lives in. We also talk about his near fatal pine cone fight, his different moments in David's vlog, and his love of sports. He incorrectly picks the outcome of last weeks NFC championship game...don't bet against Tom Brady I guess. This was an awesome behind the scenes look at what fame looks like in 2021 as more attention drifts to the internet. Alex and I laughed a lot! I hope you enjoy the episode. As always, thanks for listening. This would be a cool episode to share (hint hint lol).

#59 An Entrepreneurial Powerhouse, My Conversation with Top-Selling Realtor Rebecca Donaldson
A lot of my guests have been friends or friends of friends. Today's guest and I have never talked before this episode. I just thought her billboard was one of the best pieces of creative I had seen. I wanted to find out more about the person behind that billboard. I am glad I did. Rebecca is a constant worker, life-long learner, who takes her craft seriously. She talks about her routines, recommends some books and YouTube series and talks about her experience working with Ryan Serhant. She was so convincing I bought his book this weekend! Rebecca had a bunch of great nuggets of wisdom to be mined for anyone trying to maximize their potential. You can find her at her website, her Instagram and her Facebook. It was a real treat to have her on and as always THANK YOU for listening. This would be a good episode to share, and againI love the Little Pod community!
PS I had some trouble with the dimensions of the billboard art for this episode's artwork. So, check those out on her website.
#58 How to Build a Computer on a Budget and Customizing your Builds with Reilly Leaton, Owner of Prexium Custom Builds
Today's guest is Reilly Leaton. He is a computer wizard and has recently started his own business. He helps anyone to develop a computer build on a budget that makes sense for them. He also does repair and troubleshooting. However, his passion is doing cool custom builds. You can see his work on his Facebook, Instagram, or website. I learned a lot. Some of the early stuff was over my head, but we hit our stride a few minutes in, and there was some really good stuff if you're thinking about building your own computer. Also, we talked about the customizing that he's doing. Just like with all tech, I think this is going to become a more and more common thing. I suggested a Cobra Kai custom build. If anyone wants to make that for me, I'll give you a shoutout on the pod! LOL. As always, thank you for listening!
#57 From Oregon to Nepal, A Conversation with Hayden Rue about Non-profits, Helping Others, and the Importance of Bees
Hayden is one of the most thoughtful people I know. We had a fun conversation talking about all the work he has been doing in Nepal. We cover a whole host of topics and I learned a ton (like Nepal is NOT a third world country). You can connect with Hayden and check out what he's doing by visiting his website, Grow Facebook, Grow Instagram, or his personal LinkedIn. As always thank you so much for listening! The number of listeners continues to trend upward! That is really encouraging! Thank you so much! I would love it if you share your favorite episode on social media! If not, that's cool too! Humbled that you're listening!
#56 We're Over 2020! Can the Aliens Just Invade Already?!
Max and I are back. We talk about the NBA Bubble, books and TV shows we're consuming during the pandemic. We spend a lot of time discussing nasal breathing and the health benefits of mouth taping at night. We finish talking about masks and the election, but wanted to keep it light since every day seems to bring more chaos.
#55 How a Suicide Pact Led to the Best Year Ever: My Conversation with Mike Richeson
The podcast has been on a little break. My producer was moving, and then had some equipment issues. And, I've made a commitment to be better about taking care of my health so I've been filling my time with swimming laps and changing eating habits. So, to the Day1's out there, my bad. And, I recorded this episode weeks ago. I think it was really close to the George Floyd murder. We spend a good deal of time talking about the current state of the US. Some of it may sound dated because it was a few weeks ago. Crazy times we live in. This is definitely one of the best episodes we've done. Mike is throwing fastballs the entire time. I learned a ton from him and was deep in the conversation. Mike is a marketer, guitar player, BJJ practitioner and possesses a wide range of skills. You can see some of his creative endeavors at https://mikerichesoncreative.com/
#54 A Conversation with Bryan Marugg, A Black Belt in Life
I've been friends with Bryan for about 15 years. I have watched him grow and develop into an amazing human. He is a life long learner and seeks to do his very best at everything he does. Whether its Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, BBQing, helping people move better, or rescuing dogs, Bryan always tries to be the best he can at it. He takes no shortcuts and is an extremely hard worker. Not only. that he is friendly, and humble and always encouraging. I'm glad you get to hear from my friend, Bryan Marugg! We spend probably a little too much time talking about chickens and rescue dogs, but hey it's a conversation between two friends.

My friend, Matt Espinoza (@salemhoopsproject) and I talked about our impressions of the first 4 episodes. Hes a hoop head and really loves the game. I'm a faker, but I thought we had a good discussion about the Michael Jordan docu-series everyone is watching because of the quarantine. I'll admit, I was a Magic Johnson guy, but this doc is soooo good. If you haven't been watching, get caught up. Even if you're not a basketball fan, it's worth the watch. Anyway, I sound like an old man telling kids to get off my lawn and wishing for the old days, but I'm ok with that. I hope you enjoy! MJ is the GOAT. Don't @ me!
#49 A Conversation with Jacob Espinoza on Why Leadership Matters and Other Things
Jacob and I have known each other for years. But, this was the first time we've been able to collaborate professionally. Isaac has a Patreon account and creates extra content for paying members. This episode was originally planned for that. However, COVID-19 has changed all of that for a lot of us. Be sure to check him out @jellyfilledpodcast on IG and on YouTube (Ipdxcreative). Stay safe and I hope this helps to pass the time while we all social distance! I couldn't get the picture to fit correctly. Hopefully, it was too distracting ha!

Garrett gives some good thoughts on how to keep your data safe, but more on why it was important to think about preventing attacks in the first place. We then discussed his brief MMA career, his diet and exercise routines. Then we got deep in the woods on politics, the public school system, and the polarized nature of our country. It was a great time and I learned a ton from the conversation. The blog he was referencing is: https://waitbutwhy.com/2019/08/story-of-us.html

I take 13 fighters and narrow it down to who I believe is the greatest P4P fighter in modern time. Check it out. Let me know if I'm way off, or if I missed something. I always appreciate the feedback. Hopefully this gets you more stoked for the fight Saturday night. If you're listening after the fact, maybe that fight will change the list....only time will tell!
#41 A Conversation with Bryan Bowman, Traveling South America, Float Tanks, Stand-up Comedy, and Embarrassing Stories
@bryanbowmania and I sit down to have a completely random conversation. We laughed a lot. We told some stories. We committed to doing an open mic Stand-up comedy spot.
