Hello friends, it’s been not one, but TWO years since I have posted anything at all. I apologize for taking so long, I think I was busy enjoying life. Today I catch you guys up on life, and talk a little about that dang imposter syndrome. I promise to start back on schedule and cover some relevant topics, and maybe have some guests! When life hand you lemons, you make lemonade. When life hands you a totally disappointing situation, you don’t make lemonade, you let someone else make lemonade, while you cry and get in your feels. During a period of suffering and grief, it’s important to slow down, feel everything, and seek the Lord the most. When you slow down, and turn down all the loud noises around you, God’s words of healing are much easier to find.

Sometimes the valley seems too deep, and the darkness seems too dark. Loneliness hits us when we’re feeling vulnerable and makes us feel a little hopeless. But loneliness doesn’t mean you’re alone, and loneliness is just a feeling. It’s not going to last forever. Whatever valley you are going through, just know, from the bottom there is only one way, up. The scripture I referenced is Ezekiel 37: 1-3

Just an update, and a bunch of other random things about self worth, trusting Jesus, and not giving into shame.

Being rejected can sometimes feel like the end of the world, and you want to blame yourself for everything. You also want to believe a lot of non truths about yourself, and just really beat yourself down. Take the rejection as it is, learn from it, understand that the Lord has a greater plan, and go on.

Y’all today’s podcast is coming in hot, stepping on my toes! Patience is something I have nevvvvvver had. I always wanted, what I wanted, when I wanted it, and couldn’t stand to wait. As an adult, when we try to force things to happen because we want them now, we maybe aren’t waiting for what the Lord has in store for us. I’m learning the hard way that we have to be prayerfully patient, and seek what is good for us, not just what will fulfill our need in the moment. Hey y’all, this is the unedited (I will never edit btw I don’t have time for that, I’m keeping it real with y’all!) peak at what I’m trying to accomplish with this podcast. I’m super new, and trying something out. To be honest, I don’t actually know anything about podcasts, I literally googled “podcast recording apps” found this one, and started recording in my bathroom! I’m sure I will look back and be embarrassed, but hey yolo (do we still say yolo?). Anyway, I’m on a journey, and learning a lot about how to be my true, authentic self in a world where comparison and opinion are at large.
