Meet Robbie Chrisman, legendary name in the Financial Industry.
In this video host Jim Black interviews one of the most respected families in the mortgage industry, Robbie Chrisman. Robbie started his mortgage industry career with internships during high school and college at Peoples National Bank in Colorado, and RPM & Bay Equity in the San Francisco Bay Area. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Finance in 2014, he went to work at SoFi, where he rose to Director, Capital Markets assisting in the creation of SoFi’s residential mortgage division before leaving to work for TMS in Austin, Texas. From there, he went to work for FinTech startup Riivos in San Francisco and then to Mortgage Capital Trading (MCT) in San Diego. He is an avid cyclist, has visited all 50 states and numerous countries, and produces a successful daily podcast on the residential mortgage industry. In this episode meet Jim Lee, a real estate investor based in Southern California. Born in Taiwan Jim immigrated with his parents to So Cal. His father was an entrepreneur and inspired him. He attended UCLA with an undergrad degree in economics. In 2010 he worked at Loopnet (aka Zillow for commercial real estate). Jim is passionate about creating multiple streams as a real estate syndicator, after getting his license. Zach shares his unique background in sports as played Tight End in the NFL for the New England Patriots and the New York Jets. During his time in the NFL he spent his off-season‘s traveling the world on various humanitarian projects. His travels took him through Africa, Europe, and Asia as he worked on projects focused on orphan and vulnerable children in the developing world. For his work, he was recognized as a member of the MAD 100 people making a difference. As a member of the New York Jets he won the Kyle Clifton “Good Guy Award,” voted by the team and staff, and graduated from the NFL’s Executive Education Program at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Zach has a passion for humanitarian work, travel, adventure, surfing, and the overall art of living. Zach studied at the University of Nevada, where he obtained a degree in Business Management and an MBA while a team captain for the Wolf Pack football team. He received the award for top senior scholar athlete, finishing his college career with All-Conference honors in football and academics, and was recognized as a semi-finalist for the Mackey Award — given to the top Tight End in the NCAA.
