Because we know, emphatically that Democracy heals, because it is FOR the People, BY The People, Power to The People. It's truly depressing to think that we couldn't keep democracy alive or that folks could sweep under the rug almost 625,523 people gone between the US and Canada. But I am emboldened each day, by your voice, your experiences, your critical thinking and the fact that so many of you out there are calling out the ridiculous theories that aren't based in any facts whatsoever. Ignorance is dangerous. If the past half year has taught us anything at all, it is that one would prefer to be in a space where you didn't have to lock your car doors at night.
