Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness - The Smashing Pumpkins
After a year and a half, we are finally bringing you another episode - and on our 2 year anniversary! We first listened to the album and recorded this episode in July 2022. After a year of sitting on the unedited footage, we decided to listen again and re-record in a new style that gives us the potential for more content in our chaotic futures. We hope you enjoy this episode, and we'll see you again soon!
Fearless - Taylor Swift
Hey, all you Swifties! This album was awesome and so was recording this episode! We have a NEW special guest this week as we talk about one of the greatest song writers of our generation. Sit back, relax, and enjoy! #teamTayTay
Boston - Bsoton
Hey, Chowderheads! This week we give you "Boston" by Boston. This rock/power pop album delivers more than we expected from the Massachusetts band with hypnotizing guitar solos, catchy lyrics, and a dash of organ. Enjoy!
Jagged Little Pill - Alanis Morissette
Welcome back! In this episode we listen to Alanis Morissette's smash hit, Jagged Little Pill. This episode does cover some pretty sensitive topics and can get vulgar due to the content of the album, so there's that. This one was super interesting to listen to, and like we say in this podcast, there is nothing like this album. Enjoy!
Physical Graffiti - Led Zeppelin
Welcome, welcome, welcome to our second LZ (and definitely not last) diamond certified album. We highly recommend this album to everyone, including the ones who have never heard Led Zeppelin a day in their life and the ones who listen to the album daily. This album includes diversity, kickin' guitar solos, and the sweet, sweet sound of that classic 70's rock. We hope you enjoy this episode!
Hysteria - Def Leppard
Whitney Houston - Whitney Houston
We have a short episode for you this week. This is by far the best Whitney album we've heard so far, but it just wasn't our cup of tea. We hope you enjoy our quick notes and little fun facts. Oh, and Happy Mother's Day!
Bad - Michael Jackson
Shamone! MJ's iconic album, "Bad," is one definitely worth listening to. We're also back with our special guest, Roby, who keeps us on our toes. Enjoy the episode and happy Easter!
The Eminem Show - Eminem
Guess who's back, back again. Diamond Mine, tell a friend.
That's right, after a few weeks off we're finally back. Episode 51 hits you with the one and only real Slim Shady. There are features from his daughter Hailie, Dr. Dre, and Nate Dogg. This album also includes some of his most popular songs: Cleanin' Out My Closet, Without Me, and 'Till I Collapse. So sit back, not-so-much-relax (he's a very angry sounding rapper with a some violent imagery and crazy pop culture references), and ENJOY.

Tragic Kingdom - No Doubt
The one and only punk queen, Gwen Stefani, is here with No Doubt in their 1996 album. The ska-ish sounding album presents some timeless pieces and some pieces that have been lost with time. Nate and Lainey slightly differ with opinions, and you'll just have to listen to find out their true feelings. Enjoy our 50th episode!!
Fly - The Chicks
We're back with yet another album by The Chicks (formerly known as The Dixie Chicks). This week's episode is filled with a lot of love and a lot of goodbyes as we listen (especially towards Earl). So go for a drive, sit on your porch, or just lay down, but most importantly - enjoy!
Hotel California - Eagles
We're back at with a cult classic: Hotel California. Get ready for some solid 70's rock. Also, disregard the audio quality change in this episode (as explained in the intro). The majority of our audio file was deleted, so we had to use the backup camera audio. Enjoy this episode and go enjoy this album if you haven't already at some point in your life.

The Woman in Me - Shania Twain
After a little hiatus, we're back with the lovely Shania Twain. This album gives us a nice break from the rock genre and reintroduces us to the 90's country we're familiar with here at the Diamond Mine. Sit back, relax, and get your boots out from under the bed because this one's a doozy. Enjoy!
Ten - Pearl Jam
This week we dive deep into Pearl Jam’s debut album - a meaningful masterpiece with hard hitting lyrics and the iconic voice of Eddie Vedder. If you need an album to get you into your grunge phase, this is the one. There’s also a slight goof - we left a clip in that we meant to take out. See if you can find it. Enjoy!
R.I.P. Meat Loaf
The Stranger - Billy Joel
Garth Brooks - Garth Brooks
Yee-haw! We're back with another Garth album and it feels good to have some familiarity. Sit back, relax, put on your cowboy boots & cowboy hat, and enjoy!
Confessions - Usher
Country Grammar - Nelly
We hope you all are enjoying the holiday season! This episode is filled with many laughs and stories (it's definitely not PG). Nicky, if you're reading this, we hope you're doing well lol. Enjoy!

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin
We've hit the jackpot with this album. Led Zeppelin's first album brings in folk, blues, and the end of psychedelic rock. We didn't leave much room for goofing off in this episode because we meant business. We hope you enjoy this episode and we strongly recommend that you listen to this iconic album!

Bat Out of Hell - Meat Loaf
Sorry we've been away for so long! Like we've explained a million times before, life can get busy and we need to balance our schedules better. Anyway, this episode is all about Meat Loaf's masterful album, Bat Out of Hell, and how Nate and I thoroughly enjoyed it. You'll just have to listen to find out the details. No Jacket Required - Phil Collins
This week Nate and Lainey dive into the beloved 80's music from the one, the only... Phil Collins. Although his smash hit "In the Air Tonight" isn't on this album, we still get to admire his craft (but probably not as much as we should have). Do we think No Jacket Required is as good as the Tarzan Soundtrack? Of course not. However, we hope you enjoy listening to us review this album and listen to yourselves. Happy listening!
Come Away With Me - Norah Jones
Join us this week as we dive into the soothing voice and instrumental composition of this Norah Jones album. This is the first singer/songwriter album we've reviewed at this point on the diamond albums list, so stick with us as we try to navigate our way through each song. It's an album we think everyone should own/listen to, even if it's just for background music. We hope you enjoy!
No Strings Attached - *NSYNC
Hey, all! In this week's episode, we review *NSYNC's second appearance on the journey to listen to all 121 diamond albums and explain why it's higher on the list than their self titled album (if you haven't listened to that episode, go check it out). We also introduce a new segment that Lainey will be doing on the podcast from now on. Enjoy the episode!

Wide Open Spaces - The Chicks
Hey guys, we're back! It feels like ages since we have had a podcast up, and we apologize for that. In this episode, a strange sounding moose breaks into our room as we try to get back in the swing of things. We hope you really enjoy this episode! Oh, also, The Chicks were formally known as The Dixie Chicks, but changed their name in June 2020 - just wanted to clear up any confusion. Remember, if it ain't The Chicks, it ain't music!
Can't Slow Down - Lionel Richie
Hey all! On today's episode we review Lionel's album Can't Slow Down. That isn't all that we talk about, though. We also give you guys a behind the scenes scoop on the editing process and how our setup works. If that interests you (or not and you just like the podcast) then stick around a while! Have a wonderful day!
Hi Infidelity - REO Speedwagon
This week we're coming at you with a very popular album from a very popular rock band. This album from 1980 includes many iconic tracks that make us want to dance, sing, and (sometimes) cringe all at the same time. REO Speedwagon took us by surprise this week and we hope they do the same to you. Enjoy the episode!
Oops!... I Did It Again - Britney Spears
This week's episode features Britney Spears's Oops!... I Did It Again. We discuss why certain songs on this album are incredible and why others are worth a skip. We also mention the irony of it all with Britney's current situation. If you haven't read up on the recent events of her 13 year conservatorship, we suggest you do so. Enjoy the episode! #freebritney

Happy Mother's Day everyone! We hope you're doing good and ready for the pure chaos that ensues in today's episode. If you enjoy Spongebob, you are in for a treat with the sound effects used in today's review. You'll find out what that means later on in the podcast. We also have a guest appearance by Rick Ross. Shout out to all the pears. Enjoy the podcast, and remember, all horses have mullets.
Pieces of You - Jewel
You guys... this is the first album we've come across that has shown incredibly deep meaning. Jewel blew us away with this one and we highly recommend that you go listen to it as soon as you finish listening to the podcast. She is talented and isn't afraid to mention sensitive subjects. We hope you guys enjoy!

Speakerboxxx/The Love Below - Outkast
In hindsight, we should've made this episode a two parter, but here we are with just over an hour's worth of content. Lainey primarily talks about Big Boi's Speakerboxxx and Nate discusses all that he found out about André 3000's The Love Below. So get comfortable and enjoy this extra long episode on this fine Sunday :)
Falling Into You - Céline Dion
Coming at you with another Céline album! This episode we express our love for Céline's album instead of our regrets. If you don't recognize her pure, raw talent then you haven't been listening close enough. We hope you enjoy this episode and have a fantastic Sunday!
Dirty Dancing Soundtrack - Various Artists
Sorry to get your hopes up from the last episode, but this week isn't Outkast... and next week's episode isn't either. We'll get there eventually we promise. Anyway, this week's episode features the iconic soundtrack from one of the most popular 80's movies: Dirty Dancing. This album does include some 80's sounding tracks, however, get ready for the 60's. We hope you guys enjoy the doo-wop as much as we did. Enjoy!

Backstreet Boys - Backstreet Boys
Adding on to our poppy boyband extravaganza, Backstreet Boys brings us basically the same energy. There are lots of catchy tunes, some iconic moments, and typical love song filler. Also, Outkast isn't next... it's Dirty Dancing. Whoopsie. Hope you enjoy our commentary :D!

Elvis' Christmas Album - Elvis Presley
We keep it short, sweet, and simple in this episode. Elvis Presley was a pioneer of rock 'n' roll, but we examine his levels of holiday spirit. There wasn't much to say about the album because how much can you really comment on Christmas music? Hope you enjoy Christmas in March!

*Nsync - *NSYNC
After finally finding the correct album to listen to, we get into the pop madness that is *NSYNC's self titled album. We talk about the classics and the typical 90's love songs that make young girls' hearts skip a beat. We weren't the biggest fans, but I mean at the end of the day, who can resist the Timberlake? We hope you guys sit back, relax, and enjoy some musical commentary on this fine day.
