Ep 2: More About This SLP
This episode is more about me. Get to know why I got to this point of recording a podcast and how I developed my skill of turning anything into therapy.
Introduction
Are you a parent, teacher or a pediatric service provider? Do you want new and fresh ideas to do with your children or students? Do you want free or low cost materials? Are you trying to give your child a break from their tablet or device? Are you curious about language developmental milestones and how to use them in your every-day environment?
If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, then join me, a speech therapist, for my weekly episodes focusing on this. Before you throw that toilet paper roll out, you can use it in so many ways to have fun with your child. Same with that cardboard box, bubble wrap, packaging foam, egg cartons, and so much more. I will give you creative ideas to use these common objects with your child for a craft activity or during play. I will also point out ways YOU can facilitate language during play to help expose your child to new vocabulary and language concepts.
