The girls (and Rich) are shocked to find out that Barnes —of “Celino and Barnes”— passed away in 2020. Rich breaks his silence and recounts the tragic trauma of a cancelled birthday. Naphtah starts an èpis war and declares that Ruth’s mom is the ultimate èpis plug. Izzy shares that she’s been babysitting since she was 8-years old and Sparkle questions whether or not she’s the brother she’s never had.

This week Ruth discusses interrupting her father’s daily dose of cheating, Sparkle talks about her autonomy through Mistic and Izzy accuses her mother of going to the nightclubs in Haiti and lying about it. The girls discuss whether or not their parents truly wanted the “newness” the United States had to offer.
