M1 Mac Purchasing Decisions For Pro Creators: Who’s Telling The Truth?
M1 Macs are the talk on YouTube and I’ve not only watched countless video reviews, but also read hundreds of comments. There’s a mixed view on what these new chips are capable of and who they’d best suit. Having an older i5 21inch iMac that’s been running slow I was looking to upgrade. I’ve been saving for a while and Yah blessed me with a huge donation to put me right where I needed to be to make the purchase. I was initially looking at the intel based MacBook Pro’s UNTIL..... Apple flipped the script on me and now I was faced with buying a dated but very capable machine with more software / plug-in support or going toward the future as a beta tester on a first generation chip with fewer port options and less software compatibility. Hmmmm... decisions.... it’s tough because I don’t have a lot of great moves to make until Apple comes out with a new chip with less bugs, more upgrade options on memory and more USB ports.
