Caylee's death included. People reports Casey says she believes her father had moved on to her kid, and wanted to hide it by getting rid of Caylee and framing Casey. As for why it took Casey so long to report her missing ... she says she was under the delusion Caylee was still alive, apparently in denial she'd died, and allegedly following her dad's instructions in the aftermath. Of course, you know the jury acquitted Casey of murder, manslaughter and child abuse. She was found guilty of lying to cops, but that's it. Casey didn't take the stand during the trial, and she's never spoken out publicly since then about the death of Caylee. MERCED, Calif. - The suspect in the killing of a Merced family had worked for the victims at one point, according to a relative.

A loved one told KTVU that Jesus Salgado, 48, once drove a truck for the family's company.

The bodies of 8-month-old Aroohi Dheri, her parents Jasleen Kaur, 27, and Jasdeep Singh, 36; and her uncle Amandeep Singh, 39., were found at an orchard in Merced County two days after they were kidnapped at gunpoint from their business, police said.

"Our worst fears have been confirmed," Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke said at a Wednesday night news conference.

Warnke said the victims were close to each other when found by a farmworker tending to an almond orchard in a remote area near the town of Dos Palos, a town about 30 miles south of Merced where the family was kidnapped on Monday.

A source close to the investigation told KTVU that the two brothers were killed with a machete. The source said Kaur was then shot as she held her baby girl in her arms. The baby was then left to die.

Sheriff's officials said they believed the family was killed before their relatives reported them missing Monday.

The grim announcement of the family's death came after authorities earlier Wednesday released surveillance video of Salgado kidnapping the family Monday.

The video showed the suspect first walking by the property before talking to one of the men. Later, it shows him leading the men, who had their hands zip-tied behind their backs, into the back seat of Amandeep Singh’s pickup truck. The suspect then went back to the trailer that served as the business office and led Jasleen Kaur, who was carrying her baby in her arms, out and into the truck before the suspect then drove away.

Warnke said the kidnapper made no ransom demands but that he believed it was a financially motivated crime.

"We’re hoping that they can now at least have some kind of closure," Warnke said, adding: "It’s not the closure we were hoping for; it’s not the closure they were hoping for."

Authorities said Salgado, already a convicted robber, tried to kill himself a day after the kidnappings. He was im critical condition when taken into custody but has been talking to police, Warnke said.

Family members said nothing was stolen from the trucking company but that their relatives were all wearing jewelry. Warnke had said that after the kidnappings, an ATM card belonging to one of the victims was used in Atwater. Public records show the family owns Unison Trucking Inc. and family members said they had recently opened an office for it in a parking lot the Singh brothers also operated.

Family members on Wednesday asked anyone who owns a convenience store or gas station in the area to check their surveillance cameras for images of the suspect or those missing. They said they were worried the baby wasn’t being fed because the family didn’t have any baby food with them at the time of the kidnapping.

Relatives of Salgado contacted authorities and told them he had admitted to them he was involved with the kidnapping, Warnke told KFSN-TV on Tuesday. Salgado tried to take his own life before police arrived at a home in nearby Atwater, and he has since been hospitalized.

Efforts to reach Salgado’s family were unsuccessful Thursday.

"There's a special place in hell for this guy" say police, after video showed a man leading the family into a pickup truck by gunpoint. Four family members who were seen on video being led from their business by gunpoint on Monday have been found dead.

The bodies of 27-year-old Jasleen Kaur, 36-year-old Jasdeep Singh, their 8-month-old daughter Aroohi Dheri and the baby's 39-year-old uncle, Amandeep Singh, were found by a farm worker around 5:30pm on Wednesday in a rural area of Dos Palos, California.

"Tonight our worst fears have been confirmed. We found the four people form the kidnapping and they are, in fact, deceased," Merced County Sheriff Vernon Warnke announced in a press conference last night.

"There's no words right now to describe the anger I feel and the senselessness of this incident ... there's a special place in hell for this guy and I mean it," he continued. "What we're gonna deal with tonight is bad and we're gonna be out here all night having to deal with it."

"It's not the closure we were hoping for and it's not the closure [the family's relatives] were hoping for," he added, before confirming the bodies were discovered "relatively close together" in the area.

A press release from the Merced County Police Department said they were found "among the rows of an almond orchard" after being "kidnapped" earlier this week.

A suspect was taken into custody on Tuesday, though no formal charges have yet been brought against the 48-year-old -- who police say "attempted to take his own life ... prior to law enforcement involvement." Warnke said the suspect has given them information they're "going to keep close to our chest at this time" -- adding, "But the suspect has, in fact, been talking to us." Police also believe others may be involved.

"Our focus now has turned to the prosecution of this horrific crime," police said in a release. "With the assistance of the California Department of Justice Investigators have been processing the scene since last night. We are not releasing any details about the crime scene or speculation on any motive or cause of death as this is an ongoing investigation. As soon as we are able to give more details we will. Again, our focus has now turned to the prosecution of this case."

They added investigators are still interviewing the suspect, before saying, "Our thoughts are with the family in their time of grief and we ask that everyone respect their privacy."

On Wednesday, officials released surveillance video of the kidnapping -- in which both Jasdeep and Amandeep Singh are seen arriving to their business on Monday morning. Shortly after, a man can be seen approaching Jasdeep with a trash bag in his hand, before putting down the bag, pulling out a gun and following the victim inside the business.

After a few moments, the suspect and the two brothers are seen being led out of the building by gunpoint, with their hands appearing to be tied behind their backs. They're loaded into a pickup truck, before it drives off and returns just six minutes later. The suspect then enters the business again, before emerging with both Jasleen and baby Aroohi.

The investigation into the family's disappearance began when Amandeep's vehicle was found on fire around noon on Monday. After trying to reach the registered owner of the truck, they were able to contact another member of the family, who attempted to contact Jasleen, Jasdeep and Amandeep to no avail. They were then reported missing.

The Taoyuan Veterans Home, a state-run facility for retired army personnel in Tawain, paid the adult entertainer for a steamy show to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival — an important holiday in Chinese culture, whereby people gather to celebrate the rice and wheat harvests of the season.

Video of the raunchy performance, which took place last Thursday, was filmed by an attendee before it was posted to social media and quickly went viral.

Donald Trump’s Truth Social is not available on the Google Play store. The restriction means that 44% of smartphone users in the U.S. cannot download the app. Google says that the app violates the Play store’s standards for content moderation, according to Axios.

Truth Social, the would-be Twitter competitor created by Trump Media and Technology Group, remains unavailable on the Google Play store.

According to a report from Axios, Google said the app lacks effective systems for moderating user-generated content, which violates the store’s terms of service.

“On Aug. 19, we notified Truth Social of several violations of standard policies in their current app submission and reiterated that having effective systems for moderating user-generated content is a condition of our terms of service for any app to go live on Google Play,” the tech company, which is owned by Alphabet, told Axios in a statement.

Google didn’t immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment.

The restriction means that Android users, who make up 44% of smartphone users in the U.S., can’t download the app. Google will not let the app go live until the content issues are addressed. Truth Social acknowledged Google’s concerns and said it would work on addressing these issues, according to Axios.

Trump Media and Technology Group CEO Devin Nunes told a different story. The former lawmaker, who was one of former President Donald Trump’s staunchest allies in Congress, said the decision is up to Google and not dependent on Truth Social’s policies.

“When are we going to be available on Android? Well, look, that’s up to the Google Play store. We’re waiting on them to approve us, I don’t know what’s taking so long,” Nunes said on the “Just the News Not Noise” podcast. “It sure would be nice if they would approve us.”

Trump Media and Technology Group made the app available for preorder on Android in early August. It is available on Apple’s App Store. Google’s YouTube has suspended Trump’s channel.

The restriction is one of several obstacles faced by the former president’s app. Truth Social was created as a “free-speech” alternative to Twitter, after Trump was banned from the platform for his tweets relating to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Hundreds of the president’s supporters stormed the building that day to try to block Congress from confirming Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election.

Trump, who had about 88 million followers on Twitter, has about 4 million followers on Truth Social, where he continues to push false claims about the election. In a lawsuit they filed against Haddish and Spears, Jane Doe alleged that at a summer camp, Haddish told her she would do well in a role that the comedian developed. It wasn't made clear what the skit was about, but it involved Spears. The then-teen would allegedly go to film the skit in a recording studio, but when she arrived, she was told to mimic fellatio. A video was reportedly played during the filming that showed a man and woman attempting to eat a sub sandwich from either end.

"Physically, emotionally, and mentally uncomfortable, Plaintiff Jane Doe mimicked the acts that Haddish and Spears wanted her to do so she could go home," the lawsuit reportedly read.

A year later, Haddish allegedly told the family that she had another role for the little boy. Jane Doe claimed in her suit that they were told it was for a Nickelodeon sizzle reel, but they learned it was a skit called "Through A Pedophile's Eyes," showing a woman who repeatedly left her child alone with a man who lusted after him.

There were scenes of the child wearing minimal clothing, including being in a bathtub as Spears's character watched on before getting in. There was a part when lotion got involved, and when Spears was looking at the boy, R. Kelly's "Bump & Grind" would play in the background. After news of this lawsuit circulated, the skit resurfaced online and took the internet by storm. Viewers took to social media by the thousands to express their disgust and conversations regarding whether or not there are limits in comedy have once again taken over.

A disabled Texas woman died after being found in her home in deplorable conditions — and her three grown children have been arrested in the disturbing case, authorities said.

Patricia Martinez, 57, died Saturday afternoon in a San Antonio hospital after she was rescued from her home by Bexar County sheriff’s deputies on Thursday, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said Monday.

When deputies came to the woman’s aid last week, the bedridden mother was in “filthy conditions” — with insect infestations in her room and mold growing on parts of her body, Salazar told KENS5.

Authorities were tipped off to Martinez’s neglected condition by Adult Protective Services, who said they were concerned about “a steep decline in her level of health,” the sheriff said.

Martinez’s children, 37-year-old Oscar Dominguez, 24-year-old Roxanna Carrero and 18-year-old Pedro Luis Carrero are charged with injury to a disabled person with serious bodily injury– a first-degree felony, Salazar said Monday.

All three children lived with their mother and had been trained in how to care for her, the sheriff added.

“It’s likely she’s going to pay with her life for their neglect,” Salazar told the San Antonio station before the woman’s death. “God have mercy on their souls when their time comes.”

It’s unclear whether the charges will be upgraded for Martinez’ children now that she had died, the sheriff added.

A man was arrested in Argentina after pointing a gun at Vice President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner as she greeted supporters outside her residence in Buenos Aires, a rare case of political violence that shocked the South American nation.

Video footage circulating on social media Thursday night showed a man coming within inches of the vice president and pulling the trigger of the gun, which did not fire. The man was arrested on the scene.

Three residents of an assisted living facility were mistakenly served dishwashing liquid as drinking juice and one has since passed away, KRON4 has learned.

The incident occurred at the Atria Park Senior Living facility in San Mateo. On Saturday morning around 8:30 a.m., three ambulances were called to the facility to treat patients, according to San Mateo Consolidated Fire. According to Atria Park, three people were transported to the hospital after “mistakenly being served dishwashing liquid as drinking juice,” the facility confirmed in a statement to KRON4.

KRON4 spoke with one family who says their loved one has passed away following the incident. Marcia Cutchin says that her family first heard of the incident involving her mother, Gertrude Elizabeth Murison Maxwell, 93, when an Atria staff member called to report that she had ingested a substance and an ambulance was being called.

Cutchin says that her mother, Maxwell, arrived at the hospital with “severe blistering of her mouth and throat and esophagus.” Cutchin says Atria told her family the substance was an, “alkaline cleaning solution that eats protein,” when they were first informed of the incident. From her first arrival at the hospital, Maxwell’s family was told there was nothing the medical team could do to treat the blistering.

Cutchin said she and her family were told that first responders believed the dementia patients had ingested the substance on their own. Cutchin disputes this and maintains it would be impossible in her mother’s case because she cannot feed herself.

“We can confirm three of our residents were recently transported to the hospital after mistakenly being served dishwashing liquid as drinking juice. We have been working with local authorities, who have informed us that one resident passed away. Our sincerest condolences are with the family. When this occurred, our staff immediately contacted authorities, and the residents were transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. We are conducting our own internal investigation, and the employees involved have been suspended until this investigation concludes. We will continue working with the police and Department of Social Services to fully review and assess the incident, after which we will take additional actions as needed. The safety and well-being of our residents remain our top priorities at all times. Out of respect for the people involved, we cannot comment further.” -Atria Senior Living
