A Conversation with Claudia Salomon [President, ICC International Court of Arbitration]
We sit down with Claudia Salomon, who is the first female President of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Court of Arbitration. We talk about Claudia’s journey towards a legal career, and discuss her goals for the ICC, in particular about incorporating technology in the arbitral process. We consider issues of gender and racial diversity in international arbitration, and also touch upon certain practices of the ICC Court. We conclude by discussing ways law students and young lawyers can be involved with the ICC.

We sit down with associate and King's alumnus Hussein Valimahomed. Currently practising in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications team at Pinsent Masons, he is on secondment to Google Cloud. Given his non-law background having studied Biochemistry at King's, he reflects on his journey into the legal sector and presents listeners with key insights into the firm's style of work and values. It is an engaging discussion which should help build an understanding of the most notorious application question: why do you want to be a commercial solicitor?
