The “W” to OverCome Autism!

The Family unit is on my heart and soul! I would love to share our journey with you! From homeschool, to depression, to whatever. You as a parent are responsible to heal for yourself as well as for your children. Heal ppl Heal ppl. It’s time to get out of the “victim” mindset. To be a parent for your children in a broken world!

How 2 Overcome any situation, circumstances, and tribulations in life and relationships. Especially, the parent and child relationship. This could go for any area in life. I am always asked how do you do IT! I would love 2 share my Secret Sauce with you. This can help anyone! It’s Time 2 Rise up Warriors!

COVID changed the boys forever! I absolutely can not hate or ask why COVID debilitating affects happened to us. I am absolutely beyond grateful for this experience. Bananas...Riiiiiight? There has been absolutely nothing but growth and maturity within my boys. I completely understand now! All for a greater purpose! ❤️💜💥💎

How does this affect parenting and your relationship with your children. Absolutely Everything. Your children follow your lead and your example. Be the change.

I pray and hope someone is blessed by this episode. I just always learned from lessons of life. I always made horrible decisions and choices about men and relationships but I realized now why. I was not healed and I always selected men who were in love with my boys but not me. Or I was stuck in a relationship because for the kids type of mindset. Instead of being with who was best for me.

In this episode, it’s primary focus is single or unmarried parents who are dating and when to bring your child or telling the man/woman about your child. I’m kinda of “unconventional “ but during this period in my life I was like I can’t shelter my sons. My boys are absolutely amazing 😉 They are transparent and it is what the situation is. In this episode I focus on how the diagnosis of Autism affects our dreams, visions, and goals for our children. After I discovered this phenomenal WIN...The boys and I overcame the “diagnosis” label. To be transparent this is the only time I actually utter the word “Autism”. It’s just that label has vanished out of my mind, heart, and soul! We as a team made a choice to live the dream of acceptance!

My heart and soul are aching on this podcast. I been wanting to do this one first but it wasn’t the right time. Now, this is a VERY SENSITIVE topic. I absolutely understand. I had a roller coaster emotional, mentally, and spiritually journey with the diagnosis of my boys having Autism. The whole purpose of the boys and I sharing our lives with you is for you to know YOU ARE NOT ALONE! We are in this together! That is True Victory!

In this episode, Lesson 3 of Triggers. I know this may seem elementary but to have Faith and no doubts in your relationship with child is absolutely critical. To have a positive mindset to overcome the triggers and to prevent episodes is how you WIN the battle of Autism! Believe me I have been through these battles. I have lost several but Now the boys and I are Winning! It’s Time 2 Turn It Up! The Only Way! For the “W”!

This is part 2 of Triggers! What has helped the boys and I to overcome and WIN the episodes! Knowing your child’s triggers is worth the sacrifice. It will save you and your child from heartbreak. To have the foundation to a complete loving relationship with each other is absolutely priceless. Lesson 2 is focused on the art of listening to a child with Autism. How they communicate their feelings to you. This skill is absolutely challenging at times. The outcome to winning this skill is a game changer!

How to prevent “tantrums” or “meltdowns” which we call episodes. Finding your child’s triggers to prevent episodes or to have clarity what triggers my child. In Part 1 of a 3 part series, I will give you suggestions on in 23 years my boys and I overcome triggers and episodes. The first major step is to Observe your child. It may seem bananas and simple that’s the whole point. It will take time..Trust Me it’s worth every moment. I pray and hope this encourages a parent and child today.

Adventures with a child with autism who wonders off with no fear. In the past I didn’t handle this well. I have grown and matured on how I handle situations like this. I just want you to know you are not alone. I always felt as if I was a bad mother that he acted this way. But I learned he couldn’t help it. It’s just how his brain processes things. Then the child with deep paralyzing fears and anxiety. This is real and how I daily support, love, and persevere with my boys. I pray and hope this encourages a parent or even a child. It has taken US3 major healing and strength to work through these challenges! Keep the Faith!

Helloooo Friends! In this episode I share our story of making a decision to homeschool! Especially a child with Autism. This whole situation is bananas! I wouldn’t think in a million years would believe I would be able to homeschool! To be honest I didn’t have the desire. I had to make a decision and make a commitment to my boys.
