In this episode we review the power of broke, how empty pockets, a tight budget, and hunger for success can become your greatest competitive advantage by Daymond John.

I am going to start tracking my habits with a habit journal , created by the author.
Rating : Love the book , perhaps too long and too many references to research. Seems to be repetitive in some areas. 4.0 /5.0

She understands that each of us have a unique story to share . She created a journal workbook separate from the book to dive into our own personal story. That is going to be my action plans to follow this journal to get in depth in finding my own story.

3 AHAs: Your WHY needs to be clear otherwise it can be fuzzy. 3 examples of stories
1- SOUTHWEST AIRLINES WHY story was interesting and made sense.
2- APPLE WHY, I could totally relate as an avid and apple fanatic.
3- Oprah Car give away story around GM fuzzy WHY and Oprah clear WHY before the giveaways
2 takeAways:
1- Difference between WHY people and HOW people, WHy are CEO, VISIONARY, and HOW people are the folks that get things done, COO, and CFO that buy into the vision.
2- There is a true partnership between WHY and HOW people, that require TRUST for effective collaboration.
1 Action plan :
Simon describes the CELERY TEST as a major way to define and test your WHY. That is your filtering decision-maker. I plan on applying the celery test more pricesly to walk and act in my purpose so that my tribe can find me easily.

3 AHAs :
1- 20/20/20 framework of rising early , called it your genius hour 1- exercise . 2- reflection ( journaling or mediation) and 3- Learning reading book , listen to podcast or read a newspaper. It should be done in 66 days to install the habits.
2- Avoid distractions , he talk about how you should not get on social media first thing in the morning , if possible do a detox or a fast.
3- Small frequent advances lead to amazing results , eat the elephant in small pieces that is the way to go.
2 takeAways :
Get out of your comfort zone , forget about fear , fear will always be there , get away from your fear and setp into uncomfortable situation otherwise you will regret it forever.
About the no distraction , he always share the no screen time after 8 Pm habit.
Doing 2 WW workouts in a day and taking plenty of massages . If you think it is expensive , you will die . He also talk about doing things that make you happy , buy the shoe, the car and everything that make you happy and Love it, Love it very much .
1 Action plan :
So much nuggets to take away and act on , for me I am already installing some of the habits for the 20/20/20 framework , He mentions about intermittent fasting and I have started this month as well .
Rating : 5/5 , it is such a great book that I highly recommend on everyone book shelf . I love it just like his previous book!
