African History, Christianity and Slavery
With everything that has been happening nowadays we thought it was important to go back to have a better understanding of how things were like before and how Christianity was introduced to West Africa. So in this episode we had with us Tomi Adedeji who has a depth of knowledge on African History to discuss slavery before Europeans, and it was different when they came in. How Christianity was used to endorse or enable slavery. Why many Christians are still racists today. It was a very informative and insightful episode.

Just an update on what has been happening with us in the three months, the reason for the name change and the big topic at the moment, how we are coping with social distancing and adapting to this new way of living that might be going on for 6 months. What is your savings account saying?
Did you know about 53% of 22-29 years old do not have a savings account or have less than £1000 in it even if they do. We are becoming more of a cashless society that we are not so mindful of what is going in and out of our accounts. To help prepare for the new year, we had Kae (@ikeeyah_) to discuss ways of saving money and having a more successful financial year. You can follow Kae on twitter where she has great threads on different topics around finances and listen to her podcast pennies to pounds. What are your saving tips?

Don't Stop Praying!!!
One of the things we struggle with as a Christian is being consistent in prayer. We always start off with an intention to have a good prayer life but somewhere along the line something just goes off and we stop. As the year is coming to an end and looking into the new decade starting. Getting your prayer life back on track is so important. Prayers are a very important part of being a Christian. We talk about the importance of prayer, different prayers for different seasons, getting out of the funk and what we do when we see ourselves slacking. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (GNT) Pray at all times. So please don't stop praying.

Horny and Holy
This week we had Cristine (@iamcroe) to talk about sex and the church. Why we don't talk about it? What should we talk and when? Why people find it easier talking to a stranger about their struggles around sex. Feeling horny as a Christian. Married people still not feeling comfortable having sex due to the fact they feel dirty after staying away from sex for so long. Young Christians getting married to have sex. Desiring marriage. There was so much to unpack. Sex is not sinful within the context of marriage and we have to take away the shame in talking about it when it's done outside marriage and also hold ourselves accountable. If you are struggling with sexual sin, find someone to confide in that you trust will help you.
If you do want to read any of the articles we mentioned.

Trey Songs or Nathaniel Bassey while having sex?
This episode we spoke about Kanye's new album Jesus is King and his newfound faith, also the new wave of celebrity Christians. This conversation took us into talking about different styles of Christian music and what music you will listen to while having sex. The question of why don't Christians play Christian music at their weddings. We also had our first guest on the podcast. Do you remember when you first got saved... what were your experiences? What changes did you make? What music do you listen to now? Would you play strictly gospel music at your wedding?
