In this episode, I interview Julie Parker, a life coach and mental health clinician who specialized in eating disorders. Growing up, she struggled with her relationship to food and her body, and always found her self turning to food for comfort, and while food does provide comfort eventually she realized that it was not the solution to her problems. With this awareness, she started down the road to recovery, to dealing with her problems head-on, instead of avoiding them through food. Along the way, she utilized self-compassion, spirituality, and connecting to her purpose to find freedom and liberation.
