It was a sunny day in 2016, and the male runners decided it would make them feel more comfortable if they were to take off their shirts. When the one female runner in the group decided to do that as well (she was wearing a sports bra underneath), she was told by two coaches that she was "distracting their boys". Even though the Student Handbook states that no one is allowed to take off their shirt on school grounds, she was the only one punished for it. A few days later, the student body (reacting in outrage) carried out a protest expressing their disapproval of this unfair treatment.
In this episode, we interviewed three Palmer Trinity School members who openly disclosed their opinions regarding gender inequality in sports.
