Grow On Instagram
Lots of people ask me how to grow their Instagram. There's a little hack that I'm going to share with you that has to do with editing your post.
CTA, CTA, CTA
On all of your social posts, there should always be a Call To Action (CTA). Often I see great posts, but then doesn't give the reader any direction on how to act on what they just read.
New Month, New Strategy
Essentially google ads can be really expensive especially in certain categories. If you fall in one of those categories, consider running your ad campaign against a well-known competitor's business name instead of just the generic category.
Don't You Dare Post That Holiday Post
Everyone is doing social media wrong today. Holiday posts should share stories that relate to the holiday and not just a generic "Happy Memorial Day".
It's All About the Highlights
Often, the best performing posts on social media are highlights of people. People like celebrating other people, whether they be employees or clients.
Retention and Reviews
The real money is keeping your current clients. One way is to send weekly emails updating them on current news and trends. We also do personal check-ins to help foster a good working relationship. And we also ask them to give us feedback and reviews.
Quit With All The Links
Social media is filled with all sorts of links back to their website. But the social media platforms want to keep people on their platform, so they don't like it when posts have links.
Take A Shower Already!
Creativity is something people compliment others about often. Creativity is essentially when your brain is working overtime. For me, it's when I'm in the shower. You have to intentionally put yourself in situations where you can be the most creative.
913-298-8790
Ninety percent of the time, people will read a text message within 3 minutes. And 19% of the time, people will click a link in a text. Compare that to the 4% in email marketing and you can see the value in text message marketing.
Calling All Coaches
The hashtag #careeradvice is getting 80 million views a day on TikTok. Gen Z are flocking to TikTok for career advice and it can no longer be ignored. If you're in the coaching space, be it a life coach or a career coach, you need to be on TikTok.
FU FB!
Signal is an app that's similar to WhatsApp. They were so bold as to run ads on Facebook itself exposing the info that Facebook is giving to their advertisers, which then resulted in Facebook banning them.
Story Ads vs Post Ads
Instagram Story ads are all about the visuals. They need to be designed in such a way that makes viewers want to swipe up to engage with the content. The strategy varies a bit from Instagram Post ads.
Audio Ads
SXM Media is taking over the audio adspace. This new collaborative has deals with a bunch of companies to serve up ads on their platforms and is trying to make it easier for advertisers to get access to multiple platforms.
We Can't Stop Talking TikTok
You need to get on TikTok. Their numbers continue to go up. An viral video of a man drinking Ocean Spray got Ocean Spray 15 billion impressions in the span of a month. It also resulted in a huge boost in sales, where products flew off the shelves.
It's Time To Lean On Your Employees
It's time to get your employees involved in your LinkedIn strategies. From ideas to interactions, some companies are killing it when it comes to employee engagement.
What Do All These Companies/Brands Have In Common?
If you can learn how to narrow down your visual branding to that one thing that you do really well, you can join the ranks of companies and brands that need no introduction like iPhone or Air Jordan.
Hey Guys!
Hey guys! What's up? Good morning. Most videos on YouTube start off with one of these three phrases. I challenge you to start off your next video with the word "you". According to studies, starting off with "you" is more engaging with the audience.
Don't Leave Out Your Consumer
We work so hard on content for our stories, only to see them disappear in 24 hours. But with every major platform implementing some form of stories, don't ignore this effective way to communicate with your audience.
Pin This!
We generally assume that Pinterest is for moms, but Pinterest has more active users that Twitter and LinkedIn. And with their e-commerce capabilities, you should be on there exploring ways to promote your business.
Let's Talk Facebook
If you ever hear me speak, I tend to gloss over Facebook, but that doesn't mean we should ignore Facebook. Facebook keeps growing and getting stronger, especially with their groups.
No One Way About It
In-person events are coming back! While some of us are excited to meet face-to-face again, the majority of people are hesitant about gathering in large groups. So if you're having an in-person event, make sure to explore offering an online or virtual experience as well for those who aren't comfortable with in-person events yet.
Yes, Twitter Is Still Important
Twitter is still relevant. It was up 28% year over year. And now, they just released Spaces, which is a direct competitor to Clubhouse, but unlike Clubhouse, it's available for all platforms, not just iOS users.
Sweet Dreams!
Influencer marketing isn't just about the Kardashians anymore. There are plenty of "regular" people with large followings that companies will pay to have access to their followers especially on TikTok.
When Is the Last Time You Sent an Email?
56% of businesses are putting out more marketing emails since the pandemic began. Impressions are needed more than ever to convert potential customers into paying customers and email marketing campaigns are a big part of that.
YouTube Ad Creative Team
YouTube put out an informational message ahead of their annual Brandcast event that featured a program called YouTube Greenlight which brings together a group of creators to pitch and original series based on the goals of advertisers.
Health Insurance Marketers Beware
Google will be implementing a new rule where marketers who create content for the health insurance industry must be certified to sell health insurance.
Podcast Time NOW!
Have you been thinking about starting your own podcast? The time is now! With Apple turning on monetization and Facebook creating a Clubhouse clone, podcasts will have the biggest reach ever.
#motivationmonday
While the hashtag #motivationmonday is a decent one, a better one to use is #motivation. Consider using this instead to see how it affects your views and follows.
FAQ This
Why does the FAQ page on your website matter? Because search engines love them! Google's AI engines are compiling all this knowledge out there and spitting out this information people are performing voice searches.
So Many Payment Options
If you've ever tried to create an online store by yourself, you've come across the problem of trying to choose the correct payment portal. I detail the top 3 payment portals that our clients use.
Clubhouse vs Spotify
Clubhouse has exploded in popularity recently as the big guys have noticed. Spotify is rolling out a feature that's similar to Clubhouse in an attempt to capture that market. Do you think Spotify can pull it off?
IG TV is making you $$$$
Instagram TV recently launched ads in certain countries. Similar to how YouTube serves ads, Instagram TV will now allow content producers to pre-roll 15 second ads before their video. Instagram will then share a percentage of the advertising dollars with the content producer.
FYP (no, it's not a bad word)
Let's talk TikTok. It's not going anywhere and there are 700 million monthly active users. The most used hashtag on TikTok is #FYP, which stands for "For You Page".
FYI - You Were Cool In the 90's
We're seeing a trend with Gen Z in that they love all things 90's. Want to reach this demographic? Consider using elements from the 90's.
