As the Editor of Steve Samiof’s Stuff magazine and Society Editor known as “Culture Cween” for Hearst’s Los Angeles Herald Examiner, she was affably referred to as the Gertrude Stein of her day.

Jill has devoted herself exclusively to hotel, resort, and recreational design. For her work, she has received Gold Key, Designers Circle and ARDY awards for interior design and she was the only designer in the U.S. to receive the honor of professional membership by invitation from the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). She was also the recipient of the prestigious Platinum Circle® Award. Jill is a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC).

Common Ground is a survey of multifamily housing in LA centered on shared spaces, dating from 1910 to now, from low-income to luxury, from low-rise to high.

Join Mark Weaver and Darrell Wilson of Mark Weaver and Associates (MWA) for an intimate and candid talk on their most recent projects, how they met over 20 years ago, along with the ins and out of interior design.
