Mindfulness in the City
One of the core messages and teachings of mindfulness meditation is to observe our thoughts and feelings with curiosity and compassion rather than judgement. And to bring our focus back to our breath when our thoughts are wandering.
And often, meditation of this kind is showcased in yoga studios, calm voices, waterfalls, raindrops etc... And as much as that's nice and all, it's not something we can attain in our everyday life.
Personally, I had to find away to tap into my inner calmness and coolness in the midst of chaos wether that's on the tube, in the workplace, in a meeting or in a family gathering. And I could not relate to those teachings!
So, in today's episode I am taking you with out OUTSIDE! Yes, the episode is recorded on the go and in the moment.
You can practice mindfulness meditation in various areas and spaces! You do not have to sit down, cross your leg og even close your eyes. Use your environment, and the noises around you as your main point (see focused meditation for further information).

We’re talking about positive emotions, those internal feel-good moments that emerge when we think and act a certain way that supports and uplift our well-being. To explain the importance of creating such hub, we will be using the cognitive behavioural therapy triangle as an example and the acronym C.A.K.E which derives from positive psychology.
