11. 10 Tips for your mental health in the work place.
10. Stop Rejecting Your Life Path
Episode 10 is all about support and encouragement. As Jim Rohn shares, "there are season's to life", there as also different paces. It is important to trust the pace of life. When life becomes steep, be intentional with your step and climb. When you encounter flatland, run. Melanie shares two important pieces of wisdom to carry with you as you move forward. She reminds us that change and growth are uncomfortable, just it means you are doing it right. Be well, and as always, be kind.
09. Safety, Regulation, and Anxiety
In episode 9, Melanie talks about the importance of awareness. She shares with viewers the importance of recognizing that our patterns began in childhood as ways to navigate the world. However, as adult's some of these coping mechanisms may actually be hindering our ability to thrive.
Episode 09 will talk about anxiety as the inability to tolerate uncertainty, why our brain seeks safety, and ways to combat anxiety before "flipping" our lid.

07. Feel the feels
Feel the feels. In today's episode I talk about my experience with feeling rejection, a triggering experience. And I discuss the importance of not running away from what you are feeling. Rather, taking time to tune in and become a witness. True change comes when we become aware of our self. Self-awareness. Mindfulness is about finding the pause between your triggers and your behaviors so that you can THINK before you act. Feel the feels my loves. Be well.

04. Somatic Experiences; The Body Response
Today’s podcast I had a lot of fun making. Today I talk about Somatic Experiences, what to do when your body responds emotionally. In many cultures, finding language to describe our stressors can be really hard. It is not uncommon for individuals to first go to their primary doctor, only to be told that all the tests come back normal. Or, for someone to be experiencing significant amounts of stress and find that they are constantly tired, having digestive issues, or extreme headaches. Our mindfulness opening activity is to go to the store and purchase yourself a candle. I want you to take time to smell different ones and find one that resonates with you. I want you to create a meaning to the candle; hope, strength, comfort, knowing, belief, trust, etc. After, I want you to light your candle in the mornings while you get ready for the day or in the evening when you are relaxing at home. True healing happens in the present moment. I hope you enjoy. Back to my swearing self. It is who I am :). Be well friends and thank you for taking this journey with me.
