Black Love - The MFiles Podcast - Ep. 11
In this episode of The Melanated Files podcast, episode 11, we discuss love within the black community. This episode grew out of a desire to find a solution to an issue that black women have raised to me on quite a few occasions. The issue is that more than a few black men appear to be disinterested in black women. Black love appears to be in trouble and many are saying it's nothing new.  With this episode we have started a discussion where both black women and black men can share their thoughts on this issue. If we are going to move forward as a community we need to do it together. Our hope is that both sides listen to the plight of the other, so that we can work through whatever issues exist and arrive at an amicable solution. If you would like to share your thoughts on this issue, join us on our YouTube channel this Saturday at 10 a.m. (JST) for part 2. The Way Forward - The MFiles Podcast - Ep. 7
In this episode of The Melanated Files, we discussed a few statements that the president of Ghana made at a forum some time ago. We particularly honed in on what he said about the destiny of black people being bound up with Africa. A statement that we believe rings true, especially in many discussions about black people that somehow devolves into parallels being drawn between the state of the diaspora and the continent . We believe this was an important conversation and we had a caller who made some very strong points that we believe should not be overlooked.  You can send us a message via our website: https://www.blackexjp.com You can also subscribe to our YouTube channel here: https://goo.gl/BToqWv Thanks for listening! Our First LIVE Call in Podcast Episode - The MFiles Podcast Ep. 4
This is episode four of The Melanated Files Podcast and it was streamed LIVE on YouTube making it our first LIVE call in podcast. Being our first LIVE podcast it wasn't without it's hiccups, but we did learn a lot and are even more excited about what's to come. We'd love to have you join us on one of our LIVE podcast episodes on YouTube. The goal of this podcast is to create a platform for solution driven discussions on the black experience across the globe and the more of us discussing these solutions the better. Going forward these LIVE call in podcast episodes will be more structured and our goal is to make them shorter ranging anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour. This is the goal but we're sure there will be exceptions. Feel free to visit our website to provide us with any feedback about this episode. All About Solutions, w/Ranzo & Janique - The MFiles Podcast Ep. 1
The black community has been through a lot. Those of us within this community know this better than anyone. The odds are generally stacked against us and when we're not engaged in battles without the community, we are engaged in battles within it. These realities are well understood. However, the purpose of this podcast is to focus on solutions. Here we will highlight the problems but we won't stop there. We believe progress comes from not only recognizing the problem, but working relentlessly to remedy it. In this our first episode, we discuss the goal of this podcast, The MFiles series on our Black Experience Japan's YouTube channel, and more. If you would like to see positive change within the black community, we encourage you to listen to this episode and join us on our journey. A journey where we intend to do what we can, to be the change that we want to see.
